This is another baseless lawsuite by yahoo to control the market like so many of their other infringments on the internet community like their out right theft of website information from their own users of their service in order to make a claim on ideas not their own! Stop yahoo!

    Yahoo's service is going downhill, so this petition has only hastened my boycott (retreat) from their services.

    I suggest all, who read this, sign the petition saying that Yahoo is trying to monopolize the internet, and you will not stand for it by deleting all that is yahoo on your computer.

    I remember when i heard yahoo was going to throw suit. I for one think that the matter is yahoo is scared of how xfire is such a great idea, and they didnt do it first. But once Yahoo is done, who';s to say that AIM MSN wont follow. I wish to see great thing come of xfire. if the community supports them, then there is nothing to worry about.

    I penned it, though I dont even use Xfire. Im not really sure what suit is about, but one thing that gets me mad is big corporations trying to crush smaller, independent competitors.

    I tried xfire, honestly I took it off cause I didn't have much use for it personally. It is a good idea however, I will go check the petition out.

    I too don't have much use for it, but the idea is great, I could see it being useful for clanners or something, but I'm not a big clan person.

    I tried it out once, Great idea. I signed it with the comment "Let's keep Yahoo in it's rightful place, last", stroke of brilliance if you ask me. Anyway, thanks for the link, 22605 signed so far.

    Yeah, I signed this awhile back, Im very upset swith yahoo, uninstalled everything on my computer that they put on themselves or I downloaded, I mean, why the heck do you have to controll every singe thing. X-Fire is simply the most brilliant messenger I have found, better then any other INCLUDING MSN, sinply because of it capabilities of joining game servers, AND talking to other X-Fire users in game without having to minimize the game. You can tell Yahoo just wants to be everything..

    haha nice, If you sponsor those parties (like I did, and boy did my wallet get dented) I'd go to bawls.com and check sponsorship..

    I got one of my LAN's sponsored, (april 7th) before and after that..it's all me, I might just start charging admission :)

    Didn't mean to hijack the thread, back to the downfall of a company trying to take over the internet! we already know it belongs to Gates! back off yahoo!
