I would post this on their forums, and I am still going through emails with them about this...
Anyways, my account was hacked a while back and they reactivated my account with 15 bucks. A day later, the account was frozen from WoW support. I guess the hackers took their money back or something, I don't know how? But WoW sent me an email about the chargeback and now that I owe them 15 bucks.... I email them and explain my situtation along with emails they sent to me saying my account was hacked... I said it isn't fair that I have to pay 15 bucks of my money to pay for something I didn't do... this is the email I got back today...
While it was determined that the charge placed on account (cut name for security reasons) was added without authorization, it was found the registered user accessed the account extensively during the time paid for by the unauthorized charge. As such, this account will remain inaccessible until the funds are paid.
The total withdrawn by this dispute was: $14.99.
I did NOT play at all in the game. All I did was try to access my account via website. That too just got me to the account frozen page, email support blah. blah.
Heck, I don't even have WoW installed on my computer anymore! This is bullcrap! I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I guess I am done with WoW for good.

People keep posting stuff like this and how they get shot down. I recently had this problem and they restored my account the day i sent in my email. Just be polite and explain the situation entirely and from the beginning. It goes a long way.
I'm just amazed how they think I could play a game that I can't? I mean, they had my account frozen! lol
Do they try this first email on everyone to try and get the suckers to pay the money?
Call them. If the first peon who answers can't help you/doesn't quite understand request for someone above them. Keep going until someone listens to you completely. Generally how it works with billing/acount problems/toon restoration.
I would actually encourage you to do the opposite and NERD rage against them! They willl respect your for your ferocity and will probably give you 3 months for free. It helps if you spam thier support email with pics of you in a tin foil hat holding up $15 bucks and a crazy cat in the background.
I'm sure others did that before lol. Or worse.
Nah, I'm probably just gonna let them have this victory. WoW isn't what it use to be, and I guess this is a blessing in disguse. I'm just glad I have no money on that bank account. Anyone know a MMO with great customer service?
You'll be the better for it. Consider it a blessing.

A few years ago, when I played WoW, I reported some asshat gold seller for spamming.
An hour or so later, I got an warning from Blizzard, saying I had been reported for spamming. In it they included a chat log that showed the dude I reported spamming gold in general chat.
It took a couple of days of emails to their 'customer support' to get it straightened out. In the end, I got an email saying that they could 'see my point of view' on the matter and they removed the warning from my account.
As far as I know, they didn't do anything to Mr. Goldspammer, as he was still around, spamming gold "for the LOWEST PRICE AVAILABLE!!!"
I knew then that, for me, WoW/Blizzard had jumped the shark.
Could just take your own advice;
"You can easily get hacked in two days. Either that or that Aion has something like WoW has. Once you have a virus, malware or keyloggers on your computer they shut your account down. Which imo is a good idea. Just email them and hopefully they have their crap together to restore accounts."
As you say, it is a good idea that they shut the accounts down until the issue is resolved, so go through the motions to resolve the issue ;-)
It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.

I emailed them back saying, "How could I access my account when it was disabled?"
They just sent me a survey form...
They knew my account was hacked. Ugh. Whatever.
Personal attacks? how fun. On topic, so you're not taking any responsibilty for getting hacked?

t go to any sites that will be harmful (I have firefox with noscript, adblock and security.) You do know you can get hacked without doing anything, right?
