I talk to the Game Lord (Chip/Slappy) almost daily... this is no joke. They've got alot more sponsors than most of you would think. Not only that... but they have some rather famous people helping them in their process of making a new game...

  • oh well, we will see that when it will be done!

Lol mp3 tickets? it's was a freakin free beta and you whine that you didn't get a real-life item (like dvd's and mp3's for free? I have never heard of anyone that gives you a free game AND free stuff.
  • bugmenbugmen Member Posts: 61

I agree after there beta free give aways. I got a ticket for a T-shirt first GM isaw said i half to contact another GM this whent on for a week then they were like im sorry yestrday was last day those tickets were any good. So to them paying out a million dolloers when doging on a free t-shirt right.

  • sphinxersphinxer Member Posts: 53

you had to contact an INhouse GM... not a volunteer GM o.o.

  • bugmenbugmen Member Posts: 61

same here bugmen as well as a friend of mine. Total runaround horrible support . the people in here argueing about it were asked to come here and flame and discredit ppl telling their experience from the ryl forums. just goes to show how immature this games staff are.( look how hyped they got it..soon it will be better then eq2 lmao) Same with the million dollar rumor they need to buy customers with fake promises because the game isnt good enough. And Chip aka Slappy/Stabby isnt trustworthy he sent me a hack threat email for saying what happened to me. I would say thats pretty low

ask yourself this ...if they were offering 1000000 competition do you really think players would be trying to recruit and advertise this so they have less of a chance of winning? I think not.

umm.... nice post, except that if you played for more than 10 mins, you would see that player support is incredbly good in this game, the Game Staff aren't immature, most are volunteer GM's and when they see how un-true your posts are, they get angry, bcoz they spend a lot of their time helping players out just for the sake of it... and also... how would slappy know your email address? 2ndly, slappy is too busy helping the game to bother sending a threat email to you... check and mate.

bugmen with a bugbrain too. If you were smart enough to read the damn forums and the rules, you'd be listening to your free mp3 player like I am right now. You should really have your parents help you with these type of things. Good day.

I like your story... how your "friend" recieved horrible service... and you came here to what? not descredit and flame a game and PWG? huh... And the 1 mil is for real, it's not a rumor (how could it be a rumor if it's a stated fact... have you looked on the site?) so are you on the blizz payroll or do you get happy with this kind of stuff? Chip would never send someone a hack threat, he's too good at this job and too nice to do something that stupid. Making up crap seems pretty low to me. And yes we would recruit and advertise, because we want PWG to advance and come out with their games they are currently working on.

Next time before you speak, just shut up and goto bed.

Even if they will give you 1,000,000$, you still have to join, level up and then compete in a competition and win. I think that's pretty sad that they have to try to bribe people with money to play their game. I mean, if the people don't win it then they will quit, unless they like the game (and by what I heard of it its not the greatest).

Seriously, people need to think...First of all, it's not ever very likely for companies like these to scam...Secondly, all they really tell you is that there's a "competition" and a "prize of $1,000,000"...If you think for one second...It's an International competition...INTERNATIONAL,INTERNATIONAL,INTERNATIONAL

otherwise it would be extremely foolishimage

Slappy has an awesome resume... but I can't show you because he asked me not to, but there is a good 20+ games he's worked on, on it. There are many people there, one including (I believe) one of the lead designers for FF7...
(not sure if it's one of the leads...)

The best MMORPG out there, enough said.[/b][/quote]

This not only shows that this mmorpg sucks to the core. It is so bad that they need to pump $1Million to players just to get them hooked.. sigh.. I wonder how come other games doesn't take this step... because it ain't RYL. And for the record, for the winner, let me guess.. those hardcore players that have nothing else to do but to play 18 hours a day and 6 hrs of sleep and in the end, they own the game and everyone else that doesn't or aren't able to commit such high commitment. This is really a let down. PERIOD

I've been keeping up with the game for quite some time...And yea I heard some of that from the rylsanctuary forums...It still doesn't say much about ryl, because they're publishers...Even though they may need the money for their next 2 games or whatever, which depends on budget also if it's gonna be good or not...image

Its for Us & Canada residents only (must be in the country during competition). 18 years of age for us & 16 for canada to be able to compete. Cash prize is payed over 4 years, other items can be included with/instead of cash.
Number of players do not matter for 1m prize, only one winner (no follow up prizes). 1 account per player for competition.

This & lots of other info are in the competition details which for some reason only are linked from account signup & not from any other official link. Also the signup timeframe was 2 days(!?), so if you signup now you cant compete for it.

Well giving $1,000,000 as cash prize can make the competition more challenging. Yes you have to join and compete but hey at first they have this 30 day free trial, in that 30 day what level do you think your character reached? If you think your lvl is not enough then quit, but if you like the game and you are challenge to get the $1M then go for it.. image

Um... 1st off.... what's the point of this? "It's sad that you have to join and play b4 u can win the $1mi"... well duh and secondly, all the characters that were in the beta got wiped. Third, im not from North America and i can't collect the prize, but im competing anyways just so PWG can save their money if i win!!

Wow, we're scraping the bottom of the bucket here in the MMORPG.com forums today. A company offers a contest to it's subscribers and it's picked apart by underage beta hoppers. I hope the next time somebody offers you a ride home from your dayjob at McDonalds you wont criticise them for their kindness. You are a extemely sad and pathetic person. Come on, how immature do you have to be to bitch about a contest?

And whoever reported my post is a gutless dork lacking enough intellegence to actually stick up for themselves theirself. It's a nice harbinger that I'm ravaging you witless kids and winning the war against kiddy betahoppers.

Oh, the irony. You're STILL on this forum calling people fanbois? For one, IT'S NOT A WORD. Two, you're the only FAN BOY here. We like a game so we're here defending it's reputation from kiddie gamers with a chip on their shoulders, but why are you here? You're completely devoid of intellegence, every single one of your posts lack merit and you continue to come back as if this is where you live.
