Firstly, Im going to do Isle of Trial or whatever it is called. But should I base my opinion on the game once I play that? I dont want to spend money on EQ2 without trying it first, but I dont want to base my opinions on only a small taste of a groovy experience.

Someone tell me please: Is it right to base my opinions off of Isle of Trials? Or should I play the real thing to see what its really about? Thanks

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

Try the real thing would be my advice. The trial is really to just try all the different races and classes. If at all possible try to borrow a copy from someone you know and use a buddy code. It allows you 7 days(I think) of total access to the game.

If not, just pick up a copy. If you really hate it your only out like $30-40.

While the Isle of Refuge is great and everything, I don't think you can ever properly judge an MMO by the first 6 levels. You'll get an ok feel for the game, but combat is much better when you start filling up your spell book and the overall experience is better when you're not confined to one zone.

I was in the same boat as you a few days ago. I upgraded my graphics card and decided to try the trial. I found the trial to be fun but a bit too linear but overall the game machanics were solid so i picked up the full version the next day. The full version is definately worth every penny. Use the trial as an indicator as to how well the game would run on your comp and then pick up the full copy.image As far as im concerned this is best mmo out right now.image
