Games played:
-Darkfall - Didnt enjoy it at all.
-Mortal Online - Played it, mehh.
-Fallen Earth - Terrible.
-WoW - Tired of the underage Population. PVP was ok..
-EvE Online - Takes quite a while to get good, I was thinking about starting again though..
-LotRO - Not a fan of this game mainly due to PvP.
-Warhammer Online - Quit after most of my clan left.
I have also played a few other MMOs. What MMO do you recommend that has great PvP. Can be P2P or F2P. [Open PVP is best, not a fan of battlegrounds.]

I'd suggest Aion, Age of Conan, and Warhammer..probably in that order too. Aion has the best population of the three and in my opinion, provides the better PvP mmo experience. While Age of Conan is DX10 and graphic crazy, the combat tends to feel clunky and decaps get old quick. The game is a nice change from the overdone high fantasy MMO, however, Aion has a very unique style and theme to it. No other game has had such beautiful zone art/life to it than Aion imo. The PvP in Aion is the main focus/end game..there is open pvp created through rifts (portals that allow one side to travel to the other and fight) and the main opvp place, the Abyss, which opens around level 25 and is all open pvp between Elyos and Asmodian and the two fight over Fortresses for instances, reduced prices, rewards, etc.
I recently tried Warhammer again and was realllly close to resubbing but just couldn't because the game is missing something to pull me in. The concept of RvR and the Tiered keep fighting is really cool but the deadness/dim hope for the games future mixed with LOW population and slow fighting did it for me.
I've been pitching it too much latley, because it's by no means the best game ever, but I'm having a blast on Dungeon Fighter Online. Tried PvP for the first time yesterday and got worked by a twink in CS gear, but it was still pretty fun. Basically the game is a side-scrolling 2d beat-em-up with really indepth abilities that can be sparked through combos or set to a limited amount of hotkeys. The game demands being played on a controller though, and I'm too lazy to pull mine out.
It's pretty fun all-around though, like Final Fight in PvE and Street Fighter 2 in PvP. That's all the game does, but for an F2P it seems like a good game to not focus on solely, and to just hop in when I need a retro fix.

If you want to experience new gameplays you may try Fantasy Earth Zero or Atlantica Online.
In FEZ, there is always a war. This game is not your usual hack and slash mmo. In this game, you have a crosshair (just like in shooter games) to target your enemies.
In AO, you may control up to 9 characters. It's like you have a party of your own. AO is a turn-based strategy mmorpg.
