Need some opinions on which major MMO to play.

JonolinbJonolinb Member Posts: 66

I've played AoC, WAR, EQII, FFXI, Aion, etc. I've recently quict WoW and I'm looking to play one of the other aforementioned games. I'm more of a fan of PvE than anything, but I do find PvP to be quite a fun diversion. Anyways I'm just hoping for a few opinions and suggestions concerning which game YOU find to be superior. Thanks for your time :)

I find Wurm to be superior to most games, but ask anyone else and you'll get complaints about graphics, etc. No game does what it does though, and I have a hard time leaving it without something else that bites it's style.

I would like to try Wurm as it is one of the few that I have not played.

Right now my top choice for the biggest rush, challenge, and emotional highs and lows would be Darkfall by far. The PVE is great because the mobs have actual intelligence, the UI/controls feel very bad at first but are very superior to other games in many ways and feel a lot more realistic, and there is no doubt in my mind that the PVP is the funnest out there.

Top choice for a game with no grind that you can get instant PVP is Guildwars. You can only bring 8 spells into combat out of hundreds to chose from.

Guild Wars, Guild Wars Trilogy + Guild Wars: Eye of the North (Expansion).

Not only are the three stories compelling, but the PvE content offers plently of challenges and multiple ways of accomplishing it (not including normal and hard mode). PvP is relegated to Alliance Battles (3 teams of 4 on both sides), Competitive Missions (12v12), Random Arenas (4v4) and Codex Arena (4v4). This last is rather intersting because you have a palette of skills to choose from and this changes frequently, testing your ability with your chosen class in interesting ways. On top of all of this, accomplishments will in some real way carry over to Guild Wars 2 via the Hall of Monuments in the Guild Wars: Eye of the North expansion.

(1)TL:DR must be your way of saying that thinking hurts. Then again, this may explain why it looks like you responded to the post without using your brain.
    (2) It's not about community, is it? You just have nothing better to do.

I find Fantasy Earth Zero very entertaining. But it's mostly about war so there are lots of PVP. You don't need to grind your character in FEZ just like in GW. Try it then see if you will like it.
