Nexon made their first appearance at E3 this year and brought along a trio of their most popular or most looked-forward to games, including Vindictus, which was playable to anyone on the show floor. Check out the official E3 demo for Vindictus in this latest video from Nexon.

Lovely single player game. Looks like it will be some serious competition for Diablo 3. Can I get an official comment as to why it's on MMORPG? It's not a real MMO. It's a multiplayer capable stand alone platformer.
And OMG, so much Engrish. The movie subtitling was painful to watch. They could at least HIRE an American to do their english localization. "Enemies scream with silence" "ripped from their lungs"? WTF is that?
Meh, looks like more eye-candy Korean JMMO crap to cash shop our recovering economy. Sad. Some companies should realize that the PC Game market has room in it for stand alone single player games with multiplayer capacity, and not just force every concept for a game into the MMO shell.
Bah...
Actually it looks pretty awesome IF it will be one time purchase game
I am sick and tired of companies wanting us to pay sub for instanced singleplayer-like games
This is a free to play game with microtransactions.
Even if it would only be a dungeon crawler, this game will rock, the combat is awesome.
Also take a look at these 2 videos, it shows some spectacular ingame combat scenes:

The ease with which predictions are made on these forums:
Fratman: "I'm saying Spring 2012 at the earliest [for TOR release]. Anyone still clinging to 2011 is deluding themself at this point."
Guess Lobotomist didn't get the memo.
MMORPG needs to fix their editor.
Lol
Guess i missed the TCP reports
So glad this is a nexon game and not a gpotato game.. gpotato could learn from nexon on how to do free to plays.. cant wait.. wtb release date..until then dieng of bordom till dcuo in november
Please show me one f2p that is actually f2p. They don't put those items shops up for window browsing. You can bet you will pay more than just the normal purchase price if you want to really play this game. If you are going to chastize someone make sure it is not you looking like the fool instead.
So its a single-player lobby-system game with a multiplayer option, and microtrasactions.
If thats the case, Seriously?
F2P really means free to try, as far as I'm concerned. To me that is important. As F2P, there's a chance I'll try it. When they ask for money up front, it needs a lot more going for it, or I won't even be giving it a chance. And I'm talking about when the game is new. When it's been around a while, and only then offers a free trial, it's usually too late.
Point being, microtransactions are besides the point, as far as that goes.
Without real customization, its all probably besides the point for me, anyhow though.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
Lobo thought is was a sub based game... I was just ribbing him on not looking that up before he posted.
I think he got humor behind my post... hence his respond.
Anyway, in most yea F2P end up costing more in the long, run... but from what seen of what Nexon sell in their shop, using Mabinogi at refence, I could play the game without paying a dime.
The cash shop for this game isn't as bad as most F2Ps. Most of the cash shop items for this game are customizing options for your character like new hair or new underwear. I believe there are also options for exp boost but as Steparu stated in her review of the game, exp and levels isn't that important. The only thing I read about is the possibility of buying token in the cash shop. Tokens are needed to enter dungeons. You get 60 tokens a week, 2 tokens are spent per dungeon run. So, people who want to raid more then 30 times a week might have to pay money. Something I don't think is needed but could cost people if they want to be super hardcore. I feel that Vindictus will be a great game to play with another one. My choice is TERA + Vindictus.
As far as I know, there isn't that much character features for people with no Nexon Cash. There's only about 3 features for each customizable parts and to get the rest, it costs Nexon Cash which kind of sucks, like Otakun said.
