Rift: Planes of Telara

I was just curious of what people thought about it, what game it seems to copy, or if it appears like no other game and is badass in it's own kinda way.
Someone once said that dwarves are short, hairy, smelly drunks. @!$# them!!!!!!

It has a lot of generic MMORPG traits with dynamic ocntent. Rfits are like evolving public quests that don't suck as its been said. The instances are dynamic in that they can be different each time you go into one, and change based on character levels.
It has 2 factions, PvP/PvE servers, and other systems that haven't been announced for guilds and crafting. If you play mmos it will feel familiar with a few twists to keep it fresh. It would seem they operate on the "If it aint broken, don't fix it" mentality while simply adding to core concepts.
The class system is interesting as well, and has taken entire threads of discussion.

I definitely am going to give it a try, simply because friends of mine who are Telara fans get pissed when you don't mention the game during a "best of" discussion lately. I'll check it out, but IMO things keep getting flashier... and less fun, too. I hope it doesn't follow suit.

I will play the beta but with Tera as its competitor it doesnt stand much of a chance. Rift is the plain mmo you would think of . Its like DAOC mixed with EQ. Not as good as DAOC tho. Its to plain and boring for me.
