Not so much wondering about it, but waiting for it - yes. It looked pretty incomplete from the screenshots and info being released on it, so the delay isn't much of a surprise to me.
supposed tolaunch 3q 2010......yet not even open beta? what gives? Only reason I ask is they are not forthcoming with info

I've often seen 'w' stand in for 'what.' I was wondering what 'wonder about' implied in this case, as well as digging at your abbreviation fetish because I'm playful like that.
I get it......IDK ive kinda been looking forward to it, but even after the close of e3 ive yet to hear anything new. Nothing on facebook, no emails (i signed up for closed beta) I guess what I should of said is where is the info?

Hopefully ER and WoD will be good because were running out of up and coming sandbox games.
You must be thinking of a different game because PvP is a major part of Earthrise. Whether or not the death penalty is harsh is subjective, but ER does not lack PvP.
I'm slowly losing faith in the team behind this game. They've gone almost as dead silent as Jumpgate: Evo's developement team. The only info that ever comes out from these people no matter how far along in developement they are is a Question of the Week which is often (imo) rather vague and useless. Subjective assessment of the QotW aside, I'm personally sick of that being my only source of info. If they take much longer, they're going to be competing with some games that have released much more info and generated much more hype (not to mention the name-recognition they bring with them from the start) such as FF14 and maybe even GW2 and SWTOR.
