So I was watching this game review/preview show that we have here in Canada Called Electric Playground.
One of the hosts said that apparantly Hiromichi Tanaka (senior v.p of development) had stated in an interview that they were very interested in the p.s move with regard to ffxiv.
I personally don't really care if the game utilizes the move. However if it does and seems to be working nicely it may change my decision from buying the P.C version to buying the PS3 version.
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you think that implementing move's features would be a good idea? just a gimmick? think it would push box sales more toward the ps3 as opposed to the p.c?

motion controls, while they may be more natural, are nowhere near reliable or efficient enough for me to want to run several hours of game time with even moderate precision on them. I don't see the Move as being a game changer personally.
yea, i personally wouldn't want to be standing in my living room slashing around the air at monsters, however I think their could be some cool aspects to this, such as pointing and selecting items on the screen as opposed to using the joystick to scroll thru menu's.

Hmm... I would worry about changes to the control scheme and how things work in general that they may need to make to incorperate this. I mean it's already a bit hard to port from PC to console and vice versa for many reasons but one of the major ones is the control scheme. To incorperate a motion sensitive control scheme for PS Move changes may need to be made that will have a negative impact on PC and non Move PS3 players.
But this is just wild speculation on my part of course.
