Ever since learning that Turbine's been dabbling in console game development, speculation has run amok as to what it may be. A Harry Potter MMO? Another Lord of the Rings title? A DDO port?
While we could be waiting a while longer to discover what it is, Twisted Pixel Games seems to be a partner in this process. On their games page, the company states that they've finished working on an "unannounced console MMO" for Turbine. Twisted Pixel is a hire-for-contract console developer with a handful of XBLA titles under their belt as well as Blitz: The League II. Other than claiming to have helped them build it and that their part is finished, Twisted Pixel is mum on the project.
Still, it's great to hear that another Turbine game is on its way, and hopefully we'll hear more soon. The full statement is in the graphic above.

But will Microsoft let them on their console is the real question. Only Square Enix has been able to accomplish that and everyone else who has tried has been given the "talk to the hand" approach from Microsoft.
Wouldn't it be a little silly to finish making a game and then say "Oh, NOW we should see if we can even get on that console!"?

Champions Online was being made for the console too and look what happened to that.
Let's not forget that Turbine was onced owned by Microsoft Game Studios. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to get on their console with that history.
But CO was not being made exclusively for consoles, they already had it designed for PC. It would be stupid to design a game exclusively for one specific console without first knowing if youd be allowed to put it on that console.
Then again, Turbine hasn't been striking me as terribly intelligent lately, so who knows.

This is going to be ps3 only.
I somehow doubt that.

And if you look at their game page, all their games are either 360 exclusive or muti-console.
