So its 7euro for CoX. I think its worth it even if the palyerbase is on the small side and europeans like me have very little choice in servers. Still the game has an expansion incoming so devs still support it. Anyone play CoX? Is it possible to find groups? If not then is the game soloable?

I haven't played in over a year, so I don't know what the grouping situation is like now. It used to be very easy to find groups though. And CoH is the most solo-friendly MMO I've ever played.
I still play CoX daily, and have yet to not find a group within 15 minutes for something. Run at least one task force a day and always find enough people to join me if I start my own team. Even if someone leaves after a couple of missions I can always find plenty of replacements waiting for my invites. This holds true even on the Red side if your the one running the team - may take a bit if your waiting for someone else to find you.
