Site is sloooooooooooooooow !!!

It's been slow for well over a week.  I've been a member of this site since 2004, i've seen this site experienced slowdown but never like that.  Each time i click a forum links it takes between 15 and 25 seconds for the page to open.

    I've had some abnormalities this week, yesterday the site was down for me for like 4 hours.  Lost many of the posts I wrote,  today I'm getting issues on and off, where it will be fast on one post and then it will say the site isn't available the next.

     

    Been wondering if other people have noticed issues....

    yup it has been slow and they know it so no worries there.

    yup it has been slow and they know it so no worries there.

    That is correct we're obviously aware of the issues and are working to correct them.

    I switched to Google Chrome just for this site. For what ever reason pages take me 5 minutes to load with Firefox. Don't know why but only chrome make this site not slow as a snail for me.

    I use chrome myself and it seems to be a bit faster but not up to par.

    The site is still loading extremely slow in Firefox, fyi.

    I use Chrome. Don't think I've even noticed a difference. I need my head checked.

    Edit: Fixed spelling mistake. Damn that air conditioner for being cold.

    This has allways been the slowest site i regularly visit. (But then i live across the big eastern pool) last few days are a nightmare tough.

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    Firefox is definitely slow with this site, switched back to IE8 when I come here now.   :(
