When will people stop...

in APB: Reloaded

...comparing this game to GTA? This is not GTA online and it will never be. Yes, we didn't have a cops and robbers mmo till now, but that doesn't make this one a GTA online. This game is just an arena providing 20% of the features GTA does with a world of 0 immersion and a city that feels lifeless. I am a huge GTA fan and I never had the fun with this game that I had in GTA (at least in beta). However, I might buy this game in the near future. I'm not saying this game is bad and I don't think it's bad myself, but I hate it when new people ask if this game is any good and they want some info on it and there are people that go straight forward: "Hey, if you like GTA, you'll definitely like APB."

    Because, it's cops and robbers just like GTA. 

    I hate GTA and I know I would hate APB. I don't like pretending to be trash. Alot of people do for some reason and play GTA just because they can do just that.

    Im a big GTA fan so that was part of the appeal. But i am also a big fan of robust character creation and customizarion options,which this game appears to have in spades. Loading now...

     Considering the creator is the same fellow that created the original GTA, comparisons to GTA will always be there.

    To the OP:  So....what game should APB be compared to?.........I'm pretty sure the only reason people compare the two games because there are few choices in that particular genre to compare and contrast to.

    To the OP:  When the game is shut down some time in the future..... no wait.... then they will say it "WAS" the game that was like GTA.

     

    Seriously, what is it with all of the QQing on the boards laely? 

     

    This game is gonna fail because QQ... 

     

    Why would anyone by a game from QQ...

     

    Look at all the fanbois coming out and defending their QQ...

     

    Someone stated it in another thread and I agree.  All of the QQ and hate really seems to be worse than the fanboi stuff.  Whatever happened to the actual intelligent conversations that people used to have on games and their merits on this site?

     

    This place really used to be a good place to come and see the pro's and con's of a game where people were able to share both POV and not get bushwacked by some QQ or Fanboi or hate monger.
