PSP in US stores tomorrow - Who's buying one?

As a hardcore PC Gamer, I've never been one for consoles and handhelds, but for some reason I am really pumped about the PSP. I know it has its limitations (memory stick being one), but it still think it's cool. I've never been one to stand in line for something like this, but I've got half a mind to head to my local Best Buy at 3am just to get my hands on one.
I can't believe I just admitted that!
Is anyone else planning to get a PSP tomorrow?

good luck getting one if its not already preordered or payed off, i myself have 2 im going to be picking up.
not really impressed with the psp besides the uber graphics
would be nice to have if i had the cash but its kinda pricey and the battery life is pretty bad i think
i suckered myself into preordering it from gamestop yesterday... so yeah, i bought one also
I might buy one eventually if the price drops, as of the moment I dont see a need for one. Maybe when the GTA for the PSP launches
Batterys last a minimum of 3 hours, if you would get more info you would see that depending on what you do with it, they can last over 12 hours.
Of course I pre-ordered the PSP. This is the first actually good handheld to come out. I even bought Wipeout Pure already just to make sure they wouldn't sell out of that. Too bad I can't play the game until I pick up the handheld tomorrow

I am dissappointed that G4 tech screwed me over again since every day last week, they made mention of the PSP and its 150 dollar price tag. Yesterday it goes to 250....

got it last night at work on first break, played the hell out of it at lunch. i got one of the ones that comes with spiderman 2 it looks amazing on the psp the picture is insane

bought ridge racer. so far i love it the gfx are hot, controls are very easy to get used to
will be buying a few more games today

Picked mine up this morning and I am blown away, I had high expectation of the visual quality of this system and i still can't believe how clear the picture is. And ppl were saying the load times were gonna kill this system but i havnt experienced more then a 5 second load time in Ridge Racer and thats only when its loading a track(havn't tried any other games tho. Paid $300 dollar canadian for this and i am very pleased plus being able to watch movies or t.v. shows(in super high quality) while i'm on the bus or on break at work is a huge bonus.
If it goes down to 150 dollars sometime in the next few months mabye. But now the demand is why too high to be a good buy.
Oh my god, this thing is sick! It feels so good to hold in your hands, the weight is perfect.
The screen is SO freaking bright. I love it. For my friend's Nintendo DS I had to hold it in a certain angle to make it viewable... For the PSP if your face is somewhat in front of the screen, you can see it.
I'm hooked on watching Spiderman 2. It's great to walk around the house and still be watching it.
I'll pop in Wipeout Pure soon and give my thoughts.
Someone in one of my classes brought his in today, i must say it was pretty damn hot! He also had Spiderman 2 and the picture is pretty damn good. He also had Wipeout and it looks just as good as any PS2 game. The analog stick is kinda intersting, overall its pretty hot. I wouldnt buy one yet though, theyre like $350 Canadian.
Wipeout Pure is a fantastic racer for the PSP. It's alot of fun, i'm just not sure how long the game will last. I've been unlocking the hell out of this game, I hope it doesn't end soon.
Also, does anyone have this game and has been able to get online to work? It says searching for games but it doesn't find any.
i bought Ridge Racer, Twisted Metal, Metal Gear Acid & Untold Legends. all of which rock.
Acid is my fav though. very strange style but its cool as hell

I heard that there will be downloadable content. Don't know when they will be bring them out, but that's what I heard.
I had my PSP for about 2 months (Japanese model) now and it's my favorite new toy.
Only got three games: Lumines, DW, and Untold Legends. Planning to get Wipeout and THUG2 Remix.

On Wipeout Pure they have a downloadable content menu (nothings available yet).
The only peeve I have is that when I pre-ordered this from EBGames they didn't actually have my value pack. Instead, all they had was the "Gretzky" package which cost 50 dollars more for it to come with that game. So in theory, I threw 50 dollars in the gutter.
The next game i'll get is probably THUG2. I'm excited to get an RPG for the PSP but I don't think any good ones are out yet. A Kingdom Hearts for the PSP would be fantastic.
Got mine midnight on wednesday. it was love at first sight.
The battery life is a dead issue, i opened the box pretty much no charge the bat life said it should last about 20mins i played for over an hour.
on a full charge i played damn near all day long.
There has been anm issue with alot of the systems having dead pixels, i thank my lucky stars i have none. my friend does, its not to obvious unless you really look for it.
Games -
Ridge Racer - Great GFX, Great Sound/Music, Awesome Controls. Great Release Title 8/10
Twisted Metal - The Twisted metal we all love, with great GFX, decent sound somewhat clutchy controls but get used to them quickly. Still a Great Release Tiele. 6.5/10
Metal Gear Ac!d - Metal Gear With Cards? i knew the setup for this game would be like this for a few months, thought it was gunna suck, but its awesome the game is fun and has very slick GFX as well. Sound & Music are what you would expect from a MGS title. Feels like your playing magic with a gun. Awesome Release Title 9.5/10
Movie -
Spiderman 2 well id never seen it untill now, good movie, watching it on the psp was so nice the screen is so sharp the picture is perfect.
I haven't had problems with the battery life either. I played all day yesterday (maybe 4 hours total). The thing is, it's really hard to believe someone would be playing over 4 hours straight, for me the time is perfect. At the end of the day I just plug in the battery recharger then it's full the next day.
Also, I got no dead pixels.
OMGSTFUWTFBBQBMT Don't talk about the psp please, i have to suffer until monday to get it in the mail. bahhh
talk about teenage mutant ninja turtles or something.
