Hello, i am really interested in MO but I just cant find any information about performance. I know the ''system requirements'' but it never tells you anything specific. I mean sometimes my computer runs games that they say it wouldnt Ok to make it clear and simple my pc ( Imac whatever on bootcamp) :
- core 2 duo 2,66 ghz, 2Gb RAM, HD 2600xt.
Please can someone that already is playing tell me if it would run well. This setup is really really fast i mean its much faster than averege hardware setups because it all fit to each other. I run aoc on high - just a bit lower resolution than native but it runs great. Had a few problems with Darkfall but imo its bad coded.. thats my opinion. Ok enough. Just need to find someone with similar hardware and compare it to be sure if to get the game or not thanks a lot!

People will say yes or no - I will say maybe but don't count on it. I have, like you, run games that my machine was "lower" than for min. and they ran fine for me. MO is a different beast.
The game ran better for some people in beta than it does now. Turning shadows off seems to help for sure. My worry with your system would be that they are still putting out patches that seem to affect how the game runs for some people. You might get on and play for 2 weeks and then not be able to after they try optimizing something or turning something on etc.
Honestly though, if you think you will like the game you could buy it and try. If it doesn't work now it might soon enough. . if you can't afford to throw money at something like that then I would wait until it settles out a bit.
Wa min God! Se æx on min heafod is!
I have a +3,5 year old comp and I run with only some lag from time to time even at peek time when the cities are crowded with people.
I got 4GB RAM, 2.66MHz dual core, 500 MB graph card.
I run with low or no shadows. Graph setting on 256.
I think you need at least 3GB RAM to run it, preferable 4GB RAM. I don't know how much mem your graph card have but I think you need to have at least 500MB.
So if you got 500MB mem on graph card and upgrade your RAM to 4GB (maybe 3 is enough) you can run MO.
Ok thank you guys. You are saying 500mb video memory? but what card do you have? Its all about streams and how much mhz you have on your card. My card ati 2600xt/pro it has 256mb but its memory clock is on 700mhz it sux comparing to nvidia 9800gt that has 1800-2000mhz. Ok but thank you for your help i think i will wait some more see how the game evolves and buy a new desktop PC - i was planning to do it anyway I created the post because ive seen many videos on youtube and in my opinion game looks amazing;o the sky is just perfect and its atmosphere is awesome. Thank you once again! See you in game maybe in 2 months!
See you.
Btw, I am not 100% sure you need at least 500MB. Ask on the public MO forum if someone is using 250MB graph cards, maybe it works okey if you set everything on lowest.
i got 4 gbram and 2.1 dual core, + ati 5770hd. i can run it at max with high fps. and i use readonPRO for setting aa on
If you don't have 4 gigs of ram and 512 mb of vram you probably can't run MO.
Your gfx card is from 2006, and you only have 2gb of RAM. I doubt you could run the game with any decent framerate.
Probably a good choice for two reasons: 1) You're current rig is a little slim on RAM for MO (users with more RAM still have to turn off a lot of graphics options to avoid client crashes); 2) The devs need a couple of months to stabilize the game and add some more content.
If you're going to wait, I'd advise waiting another month or three. Three to six months from now will be the best time to see if Star Vault can get things on a even keel or not.

Thank you for your help. Yep i decided to wait. I will save some money and get meself a new better PC aiming for 9800gt or at 4850 card - i dont want to spend 2000$ on pc ;p Yep i know i have just 2 gb of RAM, was thinking about upgrading it but it is put into two slots 2x 1GB so i would need to remove both of those and buy 2x 2GB which isnt that cheap i rather save the money and then buy PC. Problem with MO is that they closed their forums to public. You have to be a sub to view it. I think its not good because i cant get any info.
Thank you and take care
