Beta invite, inactive account.

If you get a beta invite can you reactivate an inactive account using the beta key or will we have to create a new account?

I manged to make it all the way (almost) on my exisiting inactive account. It asked for sub details including a payment plan and credit card info. With the server taking a beating, I have been unable to test any other things (like new accounts)
