All of the following are changes that were not in the patch notes:
"CLASS CHANGES:
Druid # Druids can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in a shapeshifted form # Druid spells increased in cost at level 50 # In Un'Goro crater, I can no longer harvest the colored crystal in Ghost Wolf form, I get the "you cannot do that while shapeshifted" message
Hunter # Pet foods have had their effects nerfed. Causing for you to feed more to pet in order to keep happy. Update!:This is only true for high level food. I just tested it. mutton chop before patch gave 8 happiness per second, still does after patch. Wild hog shank used to give 35 happiness, now only gives 17 # The Spire Spiderling has had its Attack speed raised from 1.0 to 1.5. # Hunter stings now have a 3 second cool down. Update!:Some say 2 seconds, some say still 1 and no change in anything, just be aware that there might be a change # Ressing a hunter's dead pet now gives the caster 10 minutes of res sickness # Individual cooldown timers have been added to hunter stings # hunter level 50 spells increased about 75 silver each at lvl 50 # When scatter shot procs, it has a SFX and a graphic on top of their heads # When using Mend Pet, you can now see the amount healed in green letters on your pets life bar.
Mage # Mages Evocation has a newer 1337er animation!! # Dampen Magic (probably Amplify Magic) now lasts 10 minutes instead of 3
Paladin # Paladin Talent "Vengence" now displays a shiny glow on your hands when it is triggered/active. # Judgement of Wisdom Fixed.
Priests # The appearance of Shadowform for priests has chanced. When in Shadowform you appear...like a shadow, a silhouette of yourself, much darker, like a black hole. A side effect of this is that your PW:S cannot be seen on yourself. # Quite a few of the priest spell animations have been changed. SW:P and Vampiric Embrace are two of them. # Priest spell Levitate can no longer be used to scale impossible slopes # Priests using wands with the wand specialization talents picked had their wand damage dropped by about 25-30% # If you cast PW:S on someone who has the "weakened soul" effect, you not only get the "Immune" message, but you pay the mana as if you cast it...and your global cooldown is affected. # Priest's group heal now seems to have a new graphic/sound. # Priests look MUCH different now when in Shadowform. Think of the bad shadows at the end of the movie Ghost. You are like a silhouette of a black hole. (One side effect of this is that you cannot see your PW:S halo. You can still hear the 'bubble' being hit, though) Link: http://img174.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img174&image=newshadow3gj.jpg (Thanks Mack)
Rogue # Rogue skill Kick recieved a visual/audio enhancement # Rogue bug with Evis and blocking. A NPC blocks a Evis and takes Zero dmg. The NPC should take some damage, but doesnt. This is discussed in another thread. This doesnt effect PvP # Rogue Backstab and Ambush +% damage was changed. Backstab Rank 6 = 180% instead of 150% Ambush Rank 6 = 300% instead of 250% This makes dagger rogues do more damage, but continues to make slower weapons better. Update!:This is due to opportunity talent. Not a buff. It is like this pre-patch
Q u o t e: This is NOT correct. The tooltips on those abilities have been corrected to reflect the effect of the Opportunity talent in the Subtlety tree.
Rank 5 of Opportunity adds 20% damage to Backstab, Ambush and Garrote. Twenty percent of 150 is 30 which adds up to 180% for backstab. Twenty percent of 250 is 50 which adds up to 300% for Ambush. The base damage was not increased across the board. The tooltip reflects the actual damage done taking your talents into account.
So if you are going to put anything regarding this in the Rogue section, mention that the tooltips were updated to reflect damage increases for talents on those abilities.
Shaman # Magma Totem now taunts all mobs in it's area of effect. # Shaman can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in Ghost Wolf Form
Warlock # Soul Link no longer uses Pet mana in addition to Caster Mana # Warlock Imp pets will now run away from you if you try to kill them first. Agro'ing the rest of the area ontop of you. YUCK!!! # Warlocks will no longer repeatedly do their dodge animation when they dodge something while Drain'ing enemies. # Think you missed the nerf to Warlock Enslave Demon which now has massively diminished returns. (after first enslave times are averaging under a minute for each of the next) # When you cheer now your Voidwalker cheers too. # The tooltip shown for the imps blood pact spell now reports the actual amount of stamina given to you by the spell, and matches the amount of stamina reported on the tooltip for the buff icon. Before patch, the tooltip for the spell on the imps hot bar would report 23, and the buff icon would report 19. Now they both report 19.
Warrior # Warrior Talent ability Last Stand now shades your character blue-green for its duration. # The nerf to the warrior slam ability isn't on this list and it was on the other thread - # Anyhow, they nerfed the range from 15 yards down to 5 yards to use # Warriors Overpower is now having partial damage blocked, even though it says right in the description that Overpower cannot be dodged, blocked, or parried. # Warrior - Pummel has a new sound effect. Old one sounded like punch/thump. New one is just smooth voop sound.
Other General Changes:
General Changes # The boat from Menethil to Darkshore is back, and Captain Placeholder is no more. # They fixed the ramp in the aviation tower in Org, there is no longer that gap at the top that if you kept going straight you would fall through and have to run back up. You can no run straight to the guy to get a ride # Alliance Flight paths in Kalimdor have been greatly improved... Auberdine to Felwood in 4min instead of 12 # Every hour or so a battle erupts between Troll and Dwarf faction NPCs in Dun Morogh's Dwarven Airport # They fixed something with the Chillwind Point gryphon in that it lands me where I'm supposed to be, not out of the camp to the north. # Flightpath in Silithus, plus many new structures and a new little area to play in. # I noticed some dwarves and dragon NPCs fighting on the mountains between Elwynn forest and Burning Steppes when I was flying from Ironforge to Stormwind. # Human racial bonus of increased reputation not working correctly (untested) # You cannot use the flute from the Deeprun Tram except in the Deeprun Tram # Flying from BB to Sentinel Hill now costs ~5s without Honored discount. Previous cost was 1s 10c
Animations # Tauren dances have been changed: Male Tauren, in addition to the "Peanut-Butter Jelly Time Dance" also "Raise the Roof" and do "The Hustle". [http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/dreamss/WoW/WoWScrnShot_032205_125645.jpg (Thanks Dreamss)] # Female Tauren no longer Riverdance. Instead, they now do "The Electric Slide". --- This is a minor note, but the dance the Female Taurens do now is the "Achy Breaky Heart" country-western Line Dance. Get it...they're doing a country-western dance...'cause they're...cowgirls! # When your character gets poisoned or infected he turns totally green, his/her whole body glows green, very cool. # I also noticed that when you resist a spell there is a animation of your character throwing up his hands as if to block it, sort of like he's casting a spell. # My human character now jumps when he cheers, much like that of an old school Toyota commercial. Oh what a feeling! I think this is new # Also, bloodrage, and retaliation have gotten new spell effects as well as will of the forsaken.
Commands # /pizza command added (hungry emote)
Audio # New sound effects when dismounting your mount. # The Repair Item button at vendors now generates a sound effect when you use it. # When I mount up on my kodo, it now makes a deep grunt sound. Much better than the sound of a Jawa !#!@$&ing that was there before. # sound effects for the engineer pet Lil Smokey were changed, not as much grinding when it moves, but still makes alot of noise. # Cannabalize has a new sound effect, it sounds like you're eating squishy stuff rather than crunchy stuff now. # Priest's group heal now seems to have a new graphic/sound.
Video # Full Screen Bloom effect now works correctly with FSAA and Antriscopic Filtering making the game look even better # underwater has a more blurred effect; looks more underwatery now # If you die and then log out, at the character selection screen, you will be seen as a ghost. # Abominations in the Undercity are now a bright green
User Interface (UI) # Very minor change, but if in the interface options you have the option to display your cloak/helm turned off, it no longer displays them on the character select screen either (it did previously). # When a friend logs in or out (or guild member, if you have that enabled), their name appears in brackets, ie, [Batsu] has come online instead of Batsu has come online. I assume You can click their name for tells. # You can now select "whisper" from a target player's dropdown menu. Yay for not having to type out long names # In AH you can just type your search query in the window and hit Enter to accept # Just a small change, but now when you select an NPC or PC of friendly faction the text color of their level is always yellow instead of what it would be relative to your level(green, orange, red, etc...) (Could be a product of Cosmos users) # When you die, any chat window that has "Misc info" turned on will tell you that you just lost 10% durability on items. This durablity loss always happened I'm pretty sure, now it just reminds you of this. # The graveyard icon that shows where your corpse is on the minimap has a red tint to it now. Before it was all gray # Death effect toggling on/off no longer works # Tooltips have changed. They dropped the PvP Enabled/Disabled for players(Their name is green if they are flagged white if not) and NPC's only show PvP as the last line (not PvP Enabled) if they are flagged and show nothing when they aren't flagged. # Arrow dps now show up on the paperdoll tooltip # On death you are now informed how much durability you lost. # You can no longer mousover your own health and mana bars to get a number representation # Fix Lag option added under Video Options in the UI settings
Items # Strikers mark bow has a new skin which looks very nice. # When you create a dwarf/orc warrior you dont start with that cool looking axe with the curved handle any more. You now start with a plain old 2-handed axe. # The enchant that you get from Libram of Rumination was increased from +100 mana to +150. # Legs of the Elemental is now Kilt of the Elemental, and has recieved a graphic change. (now a skirt) (at least on female characters) # Devout armor got new graphic obviously, but several pieces have new named - devout sandals, kilt etc. # Crown of the Penitent changed: Gives 6 mana every 5 secs instead of 15 mana every 5 secs. # Mana Regen Items: Many of my "mana regen" items which were formally PER SECOND regeneration, now state 5+ or 6+ per five seconds. These items were previously tested several times to assure myself they did indeed regen every second and they did. Now it is every 5 seconds for each and every one. Makes them pretty useless now. Guess it's back to INT+ rings again. # Barman Shanker now properly shows enchants and poison effects.
Instances # Scarlet Monastary - The two monks outside Arcanist Doan's chamber now aggro when you attack Doan. # Scarlet Monastary - The two chests in the Cathedral section have been removed. # Scarlet Monastary - Some of the Scarlet casters now cast an absorption shield immediately upon being attacked. # Scarlet Monastary - Herod now follows you after he activates Blades of Light instead of staying in place and spinning. # Scarlet Monastary - I "think" the rate at which recipes appear in chests has been significantly increased. I've been farming SM for months and have found a total of 2 recipes there. Last night I got 5 in two runs. That's from a total of 12 chests. # Several groups/pairs of hounds added to the Dark Iron Highway in BRD in spots where there were previously unguarded DI nodes, making it much, much harder for rogues and druids to farm the ore. # ULDAMAN - Last night in Uldaman, before they entered combat, every stone golem in the instance (the four elites that wake when you channel the altar, the two statues outside the final chamber, and every single mob in Archaedus' chamber - including him) were shaking violently in freakish, seizure-like motions. It looked something out of the Ring, seriously messed up. # Maraudon - Several new mobs have been added on the way to the princess, many have been spaced differently.
NPCs # A new 62 elite NPC is in northwest Silithus, and may have something to do after you kill and loot a particular pair of Ragnaros' guards # guards in BB and Gatz have been buffed to lvl 57 # Mage's now cast BLINK! I had the Adepts around Jaedenar Blink on me. Sucks to be a warrior against those now hehe. # Undercity Guardian abominations now glow a bright green. Looks pretty cool. # Pterodax in Un'Goro crater have an entirely new model. # gnome bum now searches through the garbage cans in the tram. # Princess in mauradon (doing like half the dmg) # The Giant Croc in Mauradon (doing less dmg also) # Summoning the Princess in Arathi, much easier. I put this on the other thread, but that one seemed to have run its course and died. # New NPC in IF gives two Diremaul quests. # Orgrimmar managed to save up some coins and hire a whole batallion of guards. Some level 60 elites now patrol around the bank and Thrall's chamber has 12 level 60's. # UC Royal Chamber has Royal Deathguards all lined down the hall. # personally didn't notice the guards behind the auctioners in Ogrimarr until now. I think they might be new (saw them first on the test realms) # Theres now a Banker in Everlook # There is now a bruiser standing guard at the Alliance Booty Bay flightpath to stop you from being whacked as you load up the zone. I'm fairly sure I don't remember seeing him there before # A few NPCs have been shuffled around (armor merchant in Nijel's Point now stands by the forge instead of in the inn) and new ones added (the paladin standing in the corner near the big guy on the horse at the entrance to Stormwind # Ogre Boss Guy in Tanaris now has a cool looking 2h Axe that he uses # there is a new NPC wandering Ironforge.... some kind of 'Thiefcatcher'. Any quests from him yet? # There are several new NPCs in the "Dun Morogh Airport" area. # Various Dwarves and Gnomes. Some mounted Dwarf guards. And there are now Frostmane Trolls which "pour out" of the cave that has yet to have an opening. They run out onto the lake, and a fight ensues between them and the Dwarves. There are also Gnomes which scream about nearly being free (like the ones in Gnomeregan). The trolls will run almost all the way to the Airport. # There is a male Dwarf dancing, while a female applauds him. # There are NPCs near the Gryphons, but none are actually Gryphon masters.
Quests # The "Mountain Giant Muisek" quest now requires 7 muiseks be collected instead of 12. # Morrowind Research (Un'Goro Soil quest) seems to now include scrolls and level 40 food in it's possible loot table, which means fewer high level potions and more high level vendor junk.
Tradeskills & New Recipes:
Tradeskills # Bottomless bag recipes was nerfed hard. Before patch: 4 Mooncloth, 2 large brilliant shards, 8 runecloth.
After patch: 12 Mooncloth (yes, twelve), 2 large brillant shards, 18 runecloth (yeah.. eighteen), and 2 core of leather (supposedly skinned from 62 elites in MC, get your finkle's skinner handy).
NEW RECIPES FOUND # I happened to talk to the alchemy trainer in Feathermoon tonight and got a new recipe for greater underwater breathing - lasts one hour. Was curious about what other new recipes people have found for their professions # I wandered down to feralas to look at Dire Maul and picked up thick leather -> rugged leather from the leatherworking trainer # Pattern: Hide of the Wild (epic) Requires Leatherworking (300) Requires Tribal Leatherworking Use: Teaches you how to craft a Hide of the Wild.
Hide of the Wild (epic) Binds when equipped Back 48 Armor +8 Stamina +10 Intellect Requires Level 57 Equip: Increases healing done by spells and effects by up to 38.
Requires Rugged Leather (30), Living Essence (12), Essence of Water (10), Larval Acid (Cool, Cured Rugged Hide (3), Rune Thread (Cool
Dropped in DM somewhere, only saw the link. No clue where Larval Acid is from, presumably DM.
# I found a new potion recipe from the trainer in Darnassus. Elixir of Greater Water Breathing. Skill: 215 1 x Ichor of Undeath 2 x Purple Lotus
# Rugged Leather (250 Leatherworking) (Turn 6 Thick leather into 1 Rugged leather): From trainer. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=3217 # Shadowskin Gloves (200 Leatherworking): Unknown source. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=35687 # Tender Wolf Steak (225 Cooking): From vendors in Aerie Peak and Gadgetzan. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=35252 # Field Repair Bot 74A (300 Engineering): Recipe is on the ground next to the Golem Lord in BRD. It's not a lootable item like the smithing recipes, instead it's a click and use to learn item. Different interface than I've seen before, but provides for instant learning (so Rogues can do a suicide run ) # The alchemy vendor in Feathermoon (and maybe elsewhere, haven't checked) now sells "Imbued Vials" for 2.7 per 5. No clue what they are used for yet.
Wow, sounds like a lot of fixes and new stuff. Release notes never mentioned this much stuff.
On a side note, food causing less happiness increase for hunter pet seems to be in place before the patch. I noticed food i used was giving less happyness several levels later. Im not 100% about this though. Any1 can confirm/deny this?
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.
You are still spamming, copy/pasting doesn't give you any credit, grow a brain and write something on your own.
While on top of patch notes anyone can see
Live Patch Notes Disclaimer: While we make every effort to include all upcoming changes in our patch notes, please be aware that occasionally some changes are unintentionally omitted.
Some of the changes are really significant and should have been included in the patch text. Namely: #Druids can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in a shapeshifted form # Pet foods have had their effects nerfed. # If you cast PW:S on someone who has the "weakened soul" effect, you not only get the "Immune" message, but you pay the mana as if you cast it...and your global cooldown is affected. # Magma Totem now taunts all mobs in it's area of effect. # Think you missed the nerf to Warlock Enslave Demon which now has massively diminished returns.
These can be considered "stealth nerfs", which is very bad.
Ohter stuff is some graphical updates(oh noes, a nerf!) or improvements in many different areas. All I can advise you is just read more, so someday you might be able to write something worth reading.
You are still spamming, copy/pasting doesn't give you any credit, grow a brain and write something on your own.
Who said anything about spamming? What the hell are you talking about?
And yes, they do say they may miss somse things... but why does every other MMO manage to include almost everything in the patch notes(they miss a few things sometimes, but not NEARLY as much as this).
Ohter stuff is some graphical updates(oh noes, a nerf!) or improvements in many different areas. All I can advise you is just read more, so someday you might be able to write something worth reading.
Maybe you shoudl read more, since I clearly put in my title: "Blizzard: KING of stealth changes/nerfs!"
And I still don't know what your talking about.. I didn't write this.. I'm just copying/pasting this from the boards, I even linked the thread. Hence the "Quotation marks".

And we have another "KING" of constructive posting. Could you elaborate a bit, or are you just spamming?
All of the following are changes that were not in the patch notes:
"CLASS CHANGES:
Druid
# Druids can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in a shapeshifted form
# Druid spells increased in cost at level 50
# In Un'Goro crater, I can no longer harvest the colored crystal in Ghost Wolf form, I get the "you cannot do that while shapeshifted" message
Hunter

# Hunter stings now have a 3 second cool down. Update!:Some say 2 seconds, some say still 1 and no change in anything, just be aware that there might be a change
# Ressing a hunter's dead pet now gives the caster 10 minutes of res sickness
# Individual cooldown timers have been added to hunter stings
# hunter level 50 spells increased about 75 silver each at lvl 50
# When scatter shot procs, it has a SFX and a graphic on top of their heads
# When using Mend Pet, you can now see the amount healed in green letters on your pets life bar.
Mage
# Mages Evocation has a newer 1337er animation!!

# Paladin Talent "Vengence" now displays a shiny glow on your hands when it is triggered/active.
# Judgement of Wisdom Fixed.
Priests
# The appearance of Shadowform for priests has chanced. When in Shadowform you appear...like a shadow, a silhouette of yourself, much darker, like a black hole.

# Priests look MUCH different now when in Shadowform. Think of the bad shadows at the end of the movie Ghost. You are like a silhouette of a black hole. (One side effect of this is that you cannot see your PW:S halo. You can still hear the 'bubble' being hit, though)

Rogue
# Rogue skill Kick recieved a visual/audio enhancement
# Rogue bug with Evis and blocking. A NPC blocks a Evis and takes Zero dmg. The NPC should take some damage, but doesnt. This is discussed in another thread. This doesnt effect PvP
# Rogue Backstab and Ambush +% damage was changed.
Backstab Rank 6 = 180% instead of 150%
Ambush Rank 6 = 300% instead of 250%
This makes dagger rogues do more damage, but continues to make slower weapons better.
Update!:This is due to opportunity talent. Not a buff. It is like this pre-patch
Q u o t e:
This is NOT correct.
Shaman
# Magma Totem now taunts all mobs in it's area of effect.
# Shaman can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in Ghost Wolf Form
Warlock
# Soul Link no longer uses Pet mana in addition to Caster Mana
# Warlock Imp pets will now run away from you if you try to kill them first.
(after first enslave times are averaging under a minute for each of the next)
# When you cheer now your Voidwalker cheers too.
Warrior
# Warrior Talent ability Last Stand now shades your character blue-green for its duration.
# The nerf to the warrior slam ability isn't on this list and it was on the other thread -
# Anyhow, they nerfed the range from 15 yards down to 5 yards to use
# Warriors Overpower is now having partial damage blocked, even though it says right in the description that Overpower cannot be dodged, blocked, or parried.

NPCs
# A new 62 elite NPC is in northwest Silithus, and may have something to do after you kill and loot a particular pair of Ragnaros' guards
# guards in BB and Gatz have been buffed to lvl 57
# Mage's now cast BLINK!
# Princess in mauradon (doing like half the dmg)
# The Giant Croc in Mauradon (doing less dmg also)
# Summoning the Princess in Arathi, much easier.
I think they might be new (saw them first on the test realms)
# Theres now a Banker in Everlook
# There is now a bruiser standing guard at the Alliance Booty Bay flightpath to stop you from being whacked as you load up the zone. I'm fairly sure I don't remember seeing him there before
# A few NPCs have been shuffled around (armor merchant in Nijel's Point now stands by the forge instead of in the inn) and new ones added (the paladin standing in the corner near the big guy on the horse at the entrance to Stormwind
# Ogre Boss Guy in Tanaris now has a cool looking 2h Axe that he uses
# there is a new NPC wandering Ironforge.... some kind of 'Thiefcatcher'.
Quests
# The "Mountain Giant Muisek" quest now requires 7 muiseks be collected instead of 12.
# Morrowind Research (Un'Goro Soil quest) seems to now include scrolls and level 40 food in it's possible loot table, which means fewer high level potions and more high level vendor junk.
Tradeskills & New Recipes:
Tradeskills

Before patch:
4 Mooncloth, 2 large brilliant shards, 8 runecloth.
After patch:
12 Mooncloth (yes, twelve), 2 large brillant shards, 18 runecloth (yeah.. eighteen), and 2 core of leather (supposedly skinned from 62 elites in MC, get your finkle's skinner handy).

Different interface than I've seen before, but provides for instant learning (so Rogues can do a suicide run )
# The alchemy vendor in Feathermoon (and maybe elsewhere, haven't checked) now sells "Imbued Vials" for 2.7 per 5. No clue what they are used for yet.

And that's just what has been found 2 days after the patch.

My FPS went up, yay for stealth patch!
It's about time they fixed the judging Blessing of Wisdom bug.
You are still spamming, copy/pasting doesn't give you any credit, grow a brain and write something on your own.
While on top of patch notes anyone can see
Some of the changes are really significant and should have been included in the patch text. Namely:
#Druids can no longer loot any item with a gear icon to open in a shapeshifted form
# Pet foods have had their effects nerfed.
Who said anything about spamming? What the hell are you talking about?
And yes, they do say they may miss somse things... but why does every other MMO manage to include almost everything in the patch notes(they miss a few things sometimes, but not NEARLY as much as this).
