MXO- best mmorpg ever

Matrix online is one of the best mmorpg's i have ever played i highly recommend you to get it.

     If you have a good system the graphics are absolutely amazing! I just built a new system a few weeks ago (P4 3.4 Ghz, gig o ram, Geforce 6800gt w/256) and i'm lovin it so far. Are there some bugs? sure what new mmo doesn't, but the will get them ironed out in the next month or so.

    plz dont say any game is best mmorpg, its your opinion, maube best mmorpg i ever played, my opinion is this is not, my favourite mmorpg ever has to be guild wars, i think its absolutly amazing, but i havnt played mxo, and probly not gunna

    yeah, but it just kicks SOO much ass!

    I love chasing pidgeons...

    I love standing on a roof-top and having leaves blow by in the wind...

    I love getting chased by agents :P

    I love talking to main movie characters during seecret meetings in the basements of burned-out casinos...

    I just love this freakin' game.

    If you're going to promote MxO, at least come up with better reasons than chasing pigeons and standing on rooftops.

    The in-game events team seems to be doing a pretty good job, I heard they had a real live person play as Niobe and she gave a speech but was interrupted halfway when agents spawned and chased her out of the building, killing several players in the process.

    hey dude...stop to smell the roses once in a while....or chase the birds.

    The article you're referring to in MxO VAult was unfortunatly based on leaked information from one of the guys in my clan. No one was supposed to hear about it.

    But these meetings and little mini events happen all the time. I've got craploads of screen-shots of meetings with movie characters being played by the RP team.

    I played the Beta and if they didnt change that crappy Interlock combat where you use your arrow keys to select whichs moves you want then the game remains a POS in my eyes!

    I think what this game has going for it is the evolving story line, which actually allows the players to get involved with it.

    Wouldn't that make me a "fanboi" of every other game I've enjoyed? It's not like I'm on here screaming about Neo in leet speak or anything...I just know a good game when I play one.

    That depends on your definition of 'good'. I think EVE Online is good, Everquest 2 is good, and that Matrix Online is crap. Others will disagree. In the end, it's really subjective whether a game is good or not. The only thing we can really do is point is out what we like and dislike about the game to illustrate why we think it's good or bad, and have other people who read it make their own evaluations whether it's something that affects them or not.

    oi....opinions are like assholes...everyone has one, and they all stink ;)

    and we obviously have very differant ideas of what we call good in a game. But if everyone agreed life would be really boring.

    I do have to agree, this is one great MMO. I currently play this and Final Fantasy XI, and MxO totally blows FFXI out of the water. I still enjoy FFXI, but MxO is just so much more fun to play. The combat is great, the storyline is awesome (though so is FFs), the environment is amazing, everything is just great. I love how the movie characters are all played by real people and they RP, instead of just boring npcs that just repeat the same lines over and over again. This game is just awesome, i love it.

    I really like this game too.  It really does require a rather powerful system, but there is tons of character flexibility and so many different ways you can advance.  I'm having lots of fun in it :).

    Yes, this game is great. Im loving every minute of it. im glad people are coming around to the fact that just becuase 10 people that post all the time dissed it, its still a great game.

    i love the interlock

    i love the birds chirping outside the window during a mission

    i love hyperjumping

    i love dancing

    i love the emotes

    i love the pvp

    i love the community.

    This statement alone makes me want to ditch WOW and play this game.. This is something that most MMORPG companys do not get.. This is something that most of us players love to see... Having real live people from the company interact with the player base in this way is exactly what I need and is sadly missing in so many MMORPG's to date.

    You can say that again. I was at the meeting described above, and it was awesome. we even got to ask questions. Niobe was very patient, and polite. Otehr than that, I can't give details, as it's still "classified", and Brug already got in enough trouble for posting to MxO Vault.

    Yes, the live events team is absolutely awesome. No cardboard cutouts here... these are real charcter actors that actually have you doing things that jive with the Matrix story.

    I've barely posted anything anywhere in the past week and a half because I've been sucked in - and I'm loving it.

    I'm with you guys. I can't get enough of this game. I haven't had the privilege of meeting any live actors yet, but even the grindy stuff is fun so far. Blasting mobs with my shotgun just never gets old. I'm one badass Level 10 mofo! lol

    Some ancient cultures used to worship cats as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.

    make sure you find a good clan soon, if you havn't already. It's very important to have a crew in this game.

    I'm thinking of going to enumerator and getting hostile. Anyone playing there? What's the gameplay like with the more aggressive pvp?
