I have a upper end PC and I would like a newer one with good graphics. Im looking for one that stresses exploration and world landscapes rather than level grinding. I like pvp. I'm really not a fan of soloing and much rather perfer group play.
I want a new game where most people arent all in the gighest level (WoW even seemed that way).
I'd prefer a pay to play game, and one that has pretty high population
graphics are pretty important. I want to feel like im in the game rather than being reminded im only playing one
Ive tried: FFXI, WoW, Ragnarok Online

Well uhh, FFXIV. No PvP, but otherwise it fits your description pretty well.
Have you tried Aion already? that games is pretty good.
Like the rest of us, you're gonna have to wait until either Guild Wars 2, Rift: Planes of Telara, or TERA comes out and then buy whichever draws your interest most, but actually you still should probably buy Guild Wars 2 because of no sub. They are geniuses, I'll buy every expansion this time around and not miss out.
But as of right now, there is no such game like the one you mention that is worth playing. WoW doesn't seem to be your thing, Aion is horrible (I played it after preordering it), WAR is bad (quit after one month of sub) and AoC apparently has bad endgame, though of the three it's probably still the best.
I'd maybe trial Age of Conan if I were you, up to level 20 free but be aware that the rest of the game lacks the polish of the trial island. Then I'd try Dungeons and Dragons Online, or maybe LOTRO. None of these games have PvP, I am aware, but they are the only decent MMO's right now. Everything else has been a disappointment or just plain garbage. All the indy games are bad too, Darkfall and Mortal Online were both good ideas but they both play horribly. And I have an amazing comp, Intel Core i7 with a gig video card and 9 gigs of RAM. It just sucks that none of these devs deliver on their promises ever.
have you considered EVE online? Great Graphics, many aspects of gameplay, heavy pvp, and large community seeing how everyone is on one server.
God how I wish I liked EVE, but the gameplay is too boring for me. I do agree that the OP should try it though.
Eve is a good choice for something different.
I also recommend City of Villains / Heroes. Villains first because the early progression is quite fluid and soloable. Heroes later on to try something different.
Graphic wise, Age of Conan and EQ2 are pretty in a way. I personally preferred WoW's graphics over the attempt of realism, but they attempted it.
I kill other players because they're smarter than AI, sometimes.
I forgot to say that I did buy guild wars when it first came out and really didnt like it
I know the game for you . .. maybe?
Imagine putting on your headphones and playing this:
This is what I am excited about! A new patch coming up that makes the most realistic feeling MMORPG game that I have played even more realistic . ..
This is my favorite game! I put on my headphones and make my own path unlike other games where it is drawn by the DEVs. This game is very much like Oblivion or something like that because it combines FPS with some great RPG fantasy style play. If you die, all of your loot stays on your corpse for anyone to loot and you go back to where you are bound . ... the only things that you truly own are contained in the bank while you are online and offline. It is risk vs reward so if you use it than you may lose it. The PVP is the funnest that I have come across but it may not be so often. When you are engaged in combat the winner walks off with the other person's stuff usually . .. so you get a wicked adrenaline rush because compared to other games, this one matters more whether you win or lose. Even the PVE can seem hardcore because the mobs seem to have real intelligence. Other games feel like spamming buttons compared to this one. This one is hard but there are so many ways to have fun because there will always be so much to do and things are more unpredictible because of the player freedom and players run cities/hamlets/economy/politics/etc.
No floating numbers and names. No stupid visuals reminding you that you are playing a game (unless you count bad graphics lol) like floating exclamation points above quest-giver heads and floating arrows pointing you where to go and red circles around the mobs . .. none of that fluff in this game.
The combat feels awesome but I must admit that I almost quit a couple times during my first month. Once I got familiar with it I cannot compare it to other games because it just doesn't compare but it is very fast paced and can make your heart race. You can dodge! You can jump unlike no other . .. the physics make it fun to just play around seeing what mountain that you can climb or whatever once you get more developed.
Don't even bother with the trial because the most fun that you will have will be 2+ months in . .. their account billing and support kind of sucks anyways and if it was me than I would just buy it rather than have to deal with the trial and stuff lol afterall it has so many things worth trying that other things do not have in my book but you dont get those things in 14 days even you have no life and play games all day because most of the people who play are adults and they are on prime time or on weekends so the best stuff is usually during then. It may be awhile before you are having as much fun as the more developed toons. I have been able to play this casually and still do pretty well. There is always progress anyways but you will have loses that you usually learn the hard way. You will need to learn from mistakes when playing this game and you will make a lot of mistakes at first so the learning curve may be steep because PVP may not even happen nearly as often as you thought because there are so many other things to do and many times things that you need to do besides PVP.
You will have to decide on where to live. What cities that you may want to conquor or defend from others conquoring and where you will stand politically. You will need an income and have many options (your imagination) on how to get it but of course most people just earn from mobs. There are no invisible walls in this game besides the edge of a very huge map. There is naval and mounted combat as well as player holdings that are just like everything that they are wearing (you can take it).
Sounds like a sales pitch but yeah I am just bored while harvesting on my 2nd monitor . .. kicking back and eating and visiting forums and I guess I type fast because I tend to come up with these walls of text . ..

Sounds cool, but tbh the bunny hopping I've seen in the 'higher end' PvP is a complete joke. How could you take yourself seriously?
