Just FYI, I'm a new Aion user and just had my account hacked. Invalid password when login. I was out of game for maybe two hours. Secret questions had been changed before I could reset password. My characters had been deleted as I can no longer find my character in the Aion Character search as I have done before. I my friend who just started an account with me, his chracter was in the character database until 2am when it dropped. His toon no longer shows up on search. My account has been hacked and evidence is leading to my friends account just being hacked. He will know in the morning. All of this just occurred within a few hours. I can't post on main forums due to the fact I can't login. I already filed a ticket. By doing a search on internet, NCSoft seems to have problematic issues with security.
No gold buying, 3rd party software, whispers, e-mails,....nothing. Account was close to a day old. Been into MMO's for several years, multiple companies and this is my first issue.

Did you guys sign up on the same computer? Did he access your account from his computer of vice versa? Did you get the .exe from a certain site that isn't steam or the discs? Good luck getting your account back! Be sure to check everything before retyping in your passwords/info.
DIfferent computers. I don't have access to his computer or account, nor does he have access to mine. Sounds like it might be a site/client hack...not sure. Game was installed from disc purchased from store.
Update. Account fixed. They fixed my account within hours, pretty impressed actually. My hotkey bar is all jacked up, my toon was leveled to +1 lvl, and i'm somewhere within the region I need to be in. Items appear to be there, haven't checked vault yet. Interesting situation thats for sure, but i'm glad they took care of the issue without playing e-mail tag.
