playing my PC character on my PS3?

in Final Fantasy XIV

if i puchase the PC version of FF14 and level a char up will i be able to use that character later on on the PS3 version of the game? or are the PC servers completely separate from the PS3 servers? will there be a paid  transfer from pc servers to PS3 servers option? the thing is, i really want to play this game on my PS3 ,but it kinds sucks having to wait 6+ more monts for the PS3 version. i'd be willing to buy the game twice ( pc version and ps3 version) but i will not re-level a character from scratch.

    Yes, it should work easily. PC and PS3 players play on the same servers.

    Using LOL is like saying "my argument sucks but I still want to disagree".

    Unlike almost every other MMO in existence, the servers are region free-world wide meaning that anyone no matter where you reside or what platform you choose to play on, are all on the same servers together.  For instance our FFXI LS is playing on the Fenrir World here in the US, but should someone one from EU, or Japan, or AUS decide to play on Fenrir too they can, and we'll see them and be able to play together and with the use of the translator for 4 major languages, you can communicate well enough.

     

    And yes if you purchase the PC version now, and then next year wish to play on your PS3, you need but buy the PS3 version and install it there and log in as usual.  Everything you did on the PC until then will be there for you on PS3.
