Got no FF XIV Beta key, why?

Hello!
I've been signing up for the final fantasy beta, but I never got an key why? Cuz I got that promotion code from when i bought final fantasi XIII and typed it in. Shouldnt I get a beta key that way? Confused.. I heard that other ppl said that it is almost 100% chance to get a beta key if u got the code from FF XIII?!

That key that came with the game was for the PS3 beta right? Not sure if they have even started the beta for the console version yet.
lol, to the best of my knowlage the keys that came with FF XIII were pretty useless. I dont like beta's anyway, give you a false impression of what the final product will be, kinda taints your "first impression". Id rather play an MMO a couple months after launch once there is some honest, unbiased, educated reviews up.
I mean I got so happy when i saw that I could use that code and now I didnt even get the beta! I even bought a new graphic card cuz i thought it was 100% sure that I would have got the beta!

Several PS3 users have been invited to the PC beta even though they filled out PS3 applications according to eorzeapedia.com forum members.

Anyway, you didn't get an invite because there are a ton of people that got multiple keys and had multiple accounts/applications. Cheaters always win huh? Yeah it sucks man people are just like that, they don't realise that doing that actually keeps people out of the game that wants to play and test it.

They still have a ton of beta spots open, they are adding several thousand every now and then, so don't give up to quickly.
Look for invites on every monday and wednesdays until release probably.
Did you ask this question on the FFXIV forums? I assume you're properly signed up, a member, etc.
They would be much more likely to be able to answer your questions.

Yeah i think the FF13 keys were for PS3 beta which starts in August from what I heard. I like playing beta's because you get to help shape the game by giving feedback. Granted if you don't have the same opinion as the rest of the testers and or the developers don't really care what the testers say then you're screwed.
The promotional code from FFXIII is for two things, a free in-game item and a chance for a PS3 beta invite which the date for has not been announced yet due to certain issues arrising. (See: Delayed PS3 Release)
Well quess I have to be patience and wait for my key >_> Is there anyone who got beta and would like to share some of their gametime with me? I would like to try it for like a day or something, check if it runs good at my computer. And well yeh, I will not steal ur acc x')
