Due to the greediness of the design team there is no longer any reason to play this game. If you were hoping for a free or light pay game then you missed your oppurtunity with the latest update. Quests are now impossible without purchasing items to boost your characters from the cash shop. Any items above common levels are also subject to being cursed upon death. While the designers say that this should only have a 10% chance happening it is more like 50-60% chance. The European servers basically cleared overnight making it impossible to form parties which is now a requirement to finish almost every single quest in the game. Basically if you want to stand a chance with this game you would have to spend a lot of real money.

nothing new, I leave the game after 2 weeks, lame really I wanted to play this game since I played the other 2 rage of mages. I guess I can put allods and RFonline in the same boat, game who was great or great potencial but later decisions killed the game
i dont play, nor have any wish too. I was wondering how long it would be before we started seeing the F2P market imposing these sorts of penalties to get the $$$ they needed. I've never seen the f2p model as really sustainable.
For anyone EVER thinking about playing Allods Online
Don't!!
Do not even CONSIDER it
the ones in charge do not care and consistently LIE about everything. Their main CM is a completely thoughtless person only in it for a paycheck and has no intention of standing up and telling the absolute truth about the game.
Allods will be Offline soon and the world will be better off for it.
Heh, I've seen a random website ad for this game floating around that has two fantasy themed chicks in an embrace and one of them has her ass completely facing the viewer and scantily clad, it's pretty damn tasteless. It frankly looks like an ad for a soft core porn anime movie and it really makes me question the mind frame of the people working on this game. My zero-percentage of interest in the game actually went into the negative integer percentage after seeing that ad.
I played it an enjoyed it. I have not played it since the new patch (damn you real life). My experience was very enjoyable, and I can say with the utmost confidence that all the slander about the GMs, etc. above is false. It was an enjoyable game, amazing graphics, excellent gameplay, the only major problems being "forced" pvp at lv 20 and the death penalties.
Since when is Tuesday a direction?
