Lets give it a shot, Just finished Mass Effect 2 for the 4th time, and FFXIV isnt out yet so... time needs killing!
just downloaded the client, the game isnt only down its unclear when and for how long the server will be up again considering the sneak peak preview only lasted 1 hour, or well... the server overloaded or something in half that time...
so atm dont expect to play any time soon
From what I got to play last night, it's very similar to DFO (Dungeon Fighter Online) even with the Fatigue you get after going into a lot of different dungeons it depletes so you can only enter so many. The fighting was fun, tried the brawler class, did a few missions. The voice acting was horrible....and some of the translations where wacked but again this is beta. Once you equip new items you actually get new appearances unlike DFO. Was pretty fun. At launch the servers and boards crashed hard.
Email I got said servers will be back online today the 15th at noon Pacific. Their servers took a shit apparently with all the people trying to play yesterday.
That was... how shall I say it?
Not interesting. Or fun.
First person shooters are less linear.
