1st major problem is you got a pre-build Dell, if you want a system to play games better yet for anything just build your own computer. as for the issue it could be hardware issues. got anymore info you can give?

Am I reading you wrong? your old system only scored 78? The test is out of thousands.... going up to 8000 for best performance.  I'm not sure why your benchmark is failing on the new system, I doubt any of us here could help you because we can't see the screen.  Please tell me you did research before you bought this "new" computer.

It gave me an error saying missing d3dx9_41.dll, and i updated the DirectX. And now when i open it up, it says offical benchmark has stopped working. I have been looking around everywhere for like four hours, but i can't figure out what to do.

Have you updated the drivers for your graphics card? I had the same error until I did that...

A score of 78? Is this a Pentium II computer with a Voodoo3 video card?

oh your missed directx 9. install directx9 or higher and it should work fine for the bench mark.

I would not read too much into this benchmark tool at all. Here is a post from another site that might help http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94743

You may want to post some more in-depth specs for your new computer. That kind of result almost sounds like you've got a computer that isn't actually capable of 3D gaming.

What is your video card? Do you even have one?

The minimun video card that they are asking for is a 9600 nivida. If you have a lower video card then that, you can't run the game properly.

"ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB" but he included in the processor space. And this system should be able to play it pretty well.

Nice score got an older system so you got me beat by a bit over1000 points ah well I dont feel so bad since it is an older system. Have to wait and see how it runs at launch time, it was about time I spent money on a new computer its been 6 months since I bought anything for the computer and its running on 2 years old almost. I normally get something every year hehe.

    My Score

    Low: 2966

    High: 2735

Ok maybe its quite a bit over 1000 points like 1300 points.

    I run a:

    CPU: Phenom 9750 (Old) 2.41Ghz

    Ram : 8Gig 1066

    Video: GTX 275 (1Gig)

    OS: Win 7 (64bit)

I have a Intel Quad Core 2.4 with 4GB of ram, 8800GT Nvidia card and Windows 7 64-bit. I was getting around 1700 but after turning my desktop to "Classic settings" and in the control panel putting my performance to " adjust for best performance" I'm now getting a score of 3067 ^.^. I don't know how much more of an upgrade this will be but I just ordered a ATI 4850 512 Card so we'll see. I mostly ordered the new card for the HDMI Audio support so I can play with my wireless keyboard on my couch and still have sound from my TV speakers...plus the bigger display.
