Graphics cards?

Right now, I am running this game on minimum requirements. I only have $200 to spend on a card, and I need one that will run this game quickly and in decent graphics. Please send me a link to a card, I am bad with these things ::::07::

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

    Its almost harder to find find a card that wont run it lol but what are we talkin about agp or pci-e and ill awnswer when its not 3 in the morning =P.

    Absolutly without adoubt a 6600 gt not 6600, has to be GT way better than 9800xt or 5900ultra

    easy to find online youll have it in a week ::::28::

    But if your jsut meeting the system requirements youd probabaly be better off getting a decent processor (maybe the best for you mobo) and a decent sub $100 video card

    6600GT is absolutely BEST middle-price card there is right now...I recomment you buy it.

    HL2 running on a 6600GT looks awesome, i definately recommened it. Don't know about the other two, sorry.

    HL2 is heaviest of all of those...so if it runs fine..then 2 others do too

    Like I said... Im an extreme newb with this. Whats a sub video card or a processor?
    Sorry... i dont mean to sound stupid, I really dont know anything about computers. What would be the price range on these two things?

    actully doom 3 has the highest graphics card requirements not hl2.. i no u well be able to run hl2 on high settings fine but doom 3 proble not on high i never seen it on high with out lag unless u have a 1 of those x800 graphics card my friend has..

    Just to further support your decision, the 6600 GT is the best buy, hands down.

    I'd recommend the BFG 6600 GT OC as they have lifetime warranty's, and my second choice would be the XFX 6600 GT.

    as a long time ati custmer i would recomend AGINST ATI, i was rather dissapointed at the Driver support. the quick rundown  try Newegg if have a knolagable friend

     

    Ram - At least 512,  (1024  aka 1 Gb recommended) i use 1 Gb of  Kingston. I like them and also recomend Corsair (sp)  they are known, high  qualtiy, brand names of ram. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=define%3Aram 

    Prosseser(cpu) - i run a 1700 Athlon (1.5Ghz ish)  and it plays games like wow, and need for speed underground 2.  http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=define%3ACPU if you have more then 1.7 you dont need to upgrade it.  

    video card go with  6600 GT depending on howmuch money you have you may want to update stuff and go with PCI-Express (that will probaly require a new motherbord) or go with older AGP tech.
