From the few info's i found so far on how the class system in FF14 will work i got the feeling that it was much like playing my BluMage in 11.
You do have skills u can set as active skills limited by an max amount of points u r allowed to spend (i do not know the exact points so its just guessing now) so lets say u have an maximum amount of 20 points and a max limit for active ability's from 10 than i have to choose what i want my character to be able to do since some ability's will cost way more than 1 set point u will really have to think in advance what ability's u will need.
That is exactly the same system than i had with my blu in 11 but there i activated passive ability's depending on the spells i did set as active now i am wondering if something like that will be in FF14 as well.
So did anyone read something about it already and can confirm (or Deny) it?
And if not what do u think should Ff14 support the system or wouldn't u like it?

There is a 10-slot traits bar too with a set number of points to earn also, so more than likely after combining certain skills and abilities you may unlock a trait with a cost to place it on that bar, thus giving your character that trait, similar to how BLU in FFXI works!
