Well I don't think I would care about cryptic crapping all over a no name IP or one of their making.

This is Star Trek, an epic IP that should have had an EPIC amount of development on it's own engine,  not some half baked CoH engine that was never designed for a real mmo let alone one that should have vast open spaces and eye dazzling graphics.

This game should have had epic fleet battles with hundreds of people spread across 10 professions from captain to commando.

Compared to what STO should have been Cryptic's version is indeed a slap in the face and a huge joke to the industry.  They should be sued into oblivion by Paramount.

Why would they go F2P now when they have people paying for the privilege of buying things from their c-store?  It's really quite amazing.  "Trekkies" have a lot of money to spend on Star Trek stuff, I guess.

It's the Pay to Pay model.  Many of you will be disappointed, but I'm pretty sure they are in the black, and will live to make other games.

The strongest argument I've read for them not to consider the F2P model.

So let me get this straight, based on some of the replies here I am hearing some people say that if any kind of positive post about STO is put up it will be subject to attack and not allowed to just be a thread for those enjoying STO? Just trying to get verification...

Uhm, this dude obviously enjoys the game, and there is not one negative post in the thread here on this board.

That is pretty much correct. The old saying that misery loves company is nowhere more in evidence than this web site. You either like what the next guy likes or your a fanboy or a hater. Ive seen some very intelligent posts here but most are drowned out like the good kid being ignored to cater to the yelling brat.

WOW isnt great because it has 12 million players. WOW has 12 million players because its great.

Well, I'd like to know what Mopar likes about the game?  Isn't one of the biggest complaints on these boards that "I hate STO" doesn't offer any information?  Well, the "I love STO" posts without any explanation are exactly the same.  Why do you enjoy STO Mopar?  What groung breaking mechanic does the game have that causes you to give it an "85"? Because it is branded Star Trek? Really if you want to post STO love posts, why not use the official boards?  Do you think I would get the same consideration you seem to want if I posted something negative there?  Post something positive and back it up and it wont be subject to attack.

Is this the same guy that's constantly complaining abut hate speech on these forums? Who doesn't really seem to understand what hate speech is?

    Just looking for verification...

I enjoy eating ramen and I dont think I need a dissertation to defend it. likes and dislikes does not have ultimate explanations. Some people could like instanced mmos other don't, people could care about repetitive missions, others not so much.

The issue is that Star Trek has not inspired a decent video game ever, at most edible ones. If we compare to Star Wars based games the difference is evident. I hypothesized that Star Trek implementation in video games is kind of utopic by the actual nature of star trek. Star Trek mmo was not even considered by the big mmo studios, so it is possible to suspect that something is not right with the IP in the first place.

The first thing I think star trek needed to be is a sandbox, there is no reason for themepark but giving the group of trekkies which are the ones actually supporting it right now. That is the main difference, you can make a huge argument why STO is the worst game ever invented but there are people that enjoy it and the whole hate stuff is actually pointless.

i think the most indicting thing about this whole situation.. is that .. even if it went F2P it would still struggle to garner new players....

Oh I understand the reasons that a lot of people have for not liking the game. I even agree with some of them but that is not my point. This is not about not liking a game this is about little trolls with no lives outside internet pron and a jar of vaseline sitting in mommies basement so they do not need to have a job looking for a post on anything they have decided to target and then going on the attack if anyone dares post an opinion contrary to theirs.

If you find fault in the game then without a doubt you should post a thread and explain your position. However to look for any thread that in somewhy might counter your position and then attack and attack evening going off the original track of the thread is not about having a legitimate grievence, it is about a hatred that needs serious medication.

two way street bud. in case you were unsure of what two way street means i added one of your posts from earlier in this thread. isnt it ironic you keep talking about being attacked?

IF THE ONLY DEFENCE FOR CRITICISM OF A GAME IS CALLING SOMEONE A TROLL OR HATER, THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE GAME

      Ramen noodles nutrition facts

It's always good to know what we're eating!

Here are the nutritional informations found on the back of a common ramen    noodles package:

    85g. package

    18%

      Saturated 6g.

    30%

      Trans 0 g.

    0%

    0%

    Calcium

    2%

    Iron

    12%

What can we learn from these nutrition facts?

    High in sodium:

First, ramen noodles are very high in sodium and that's pretty bad. Producers of almost all kind of food in North America now tend to put a lot of salt in their recipes, to make sure it's tasty and that consumers will buy the products. It sure might taste good, but our body don't react well to large income of sodium over a long period of time. So what is the solution? Well most of the salt in the noodle package comes from the soup base. Even if it taste good, we really recommand not to add that soup base to your noodles, instead, why not take a look in our recipes section, for healthier and delicious recipes!

So is sperm, but I'd prefer my women not change their diet.
