I got the bench mark program and ran it and got a 500 high/ 1000 low.
I have a 2 year old custom build lap top P2 dual core 9500 2.6 gig 9600mgt nivdia 520 4 gig's ram, HD with 1920 by 1200 blue ray player/burner sound card TV card ETC.ETC. payed over 5k to build.
I know it's a little over 2 years old but from what I gather 1000 to 1500 min to play this game so they are basicly telling me my machine can not run it but my older then my custom built crap ass POS PS3 can WTF.
When i ran the benchmak I got few flat line spaces and most of the bar's on the graph where 3/4 to the top you would figure that is a good run not a your machine is a POS please up grade or find another game mark.
I preorderd my CE with gamestop and can not cancel it only option was to have it shiped to my house (CE only option) if I can not run this game I will definatly do a charge back as I know the UPS guy does not ask for a signature for items here just drops it at the door so item not recived give me my money back FFXIV CE up for sale on Ebay.
But hate to do it can not see a PS3 running it and my computer can not.
Any one know if you can run your computer account on your PS3? if I have my CE for my computer could I log into and play my CE account on my PS3 ? If I can do that then cool can play my POS PS3 till I upgrade to a desk top but I will not pay for something I can not play

3 or 4 threads on the benchmark scores on the first page of this forum alone. The benchmark suffers from multiple flaws, including lacking a description that says please don't freak out from the scores that scrolls across the screen repeatedly during the entire length of it.
Relax, take a breath, your computer can handle the game.
Thanks anyone know about the PC PS3 accounts being interchangable?
Yes, they are.
Also you CAN cancel your Gamestop order.
Just call them and tell them you would like to cancel your preorder. 1 (800) 883-8895
Note about the benchmark: Don't worry about the scores, just watch the actual video quality. If on low you are getting periodic freezing and really low FPS then that's what really matters. As long as the whole thing plays through smoothly you'll be fine.
Also even if you are getting low FPS don't worry about it at this point, the benchmark is definitely not how the game is going to run at release, which should be much better.

Thanks for the info.
