I want to say FFXIV but I'm seeing a lot of rage regarding the PC controls and lack of solo content. No need to discuss the KB/Mouse vs controller issue here, but that certainly dampened my enthusiasm. Can't comment on the others that are too far from release to form an opinion.
No MMOs look promising, but my human nature forces me to look forward to what GW2 might bring up (Otherwise I'd be a sad excuse of a happy human being).
The only MMO that I am looking forward to is, "The Secret World". If Funcom can pull that one off I will be playing it. If it flops then I will continue having fun with Morrowind as I am now. Also if it has any form of cash shop then Funcom can kiss my rear.
I'd like to give Earthrise a try (if that darn game ever materializes) and maybe Fallout as well. Right now I'm enjoying Fallen Earth and Entropia Universe, so I have plenty on my plate as it is.
Edited to add: Forgot about Secret World, I'd like to give that one a try as well.
I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.
I'm hopeful for FFXIV, GW2, Rift, and TERA. I also don't want to buy too much into the hype of any of these games and get burned when they finally release.
Out of the four I listed, hopefully one of them will be good. I shall patiently wait and see how they do a few months after they're released.
I have stopped anticipating games. Several of those games do interest me and I hope can become successful, but as for if any of them will actually be worth playing, the jury is too far out. The Old Republic I am looking forward to, but more as a continuation of the KOTOR series than as an MMO (even though it seems to be following a very standard MMO design). Heck, if the balance is good, the stories are good, and the game is fun to play, that will probably be worth it for me even if it is a little stale. I play LOTRO because I enjoy the story, even though the game doesn't really innovate in any way.
I feel I don't really have enough info about any upcoming game besides TOR to really even know what they are about, let alone judge whether they will be "the next big thing in my mmo life". Only reason I voted TOR is because I have enough info to know exactly what it is, and I don't expect it to fail at what it's trying to be.
FFXIV mainly, an actual mmo that caters to grouping/co-op between players for a change. A feature that was really what got me into mmo's to begin with.
TOR/GW2 and the others look worth checking out when they come around, but I don't have high hopes for them.
Getting a little sick of League of Legends as of late...so I hope TERA will come sooner than later. With that said, the game that will probably destroy my rl the most thats coming is Star Wars.
Rift: PoT, Copernicus and World of Darkness Online.
If I don't find a long term home out of those three (meaning they aren't throw -away MMOs like the current trend of games) then I'm out of MMOs and going back full time to pencil and Paper/roll dice gaming.

Guild wars 2 is the only one on your list that I am looking forward to. Arena Net is the only one on the list that I have confidence in not to mess it up!
I am interested in gving this a go after following their progress over the years. They do set themselves apart from the rest as developers and trust they will deliver when they say they will. I can't wait to see what they have in store for my PVP fix.
voted for 40k because of the games I'm waiting on, it's the one on the list. (world of darkness online, secret world, 40k)
Grouping in Old school mmo's: meeting someone at the bar and chatting, getting to know them before jumping into bed. Current mmo's grouping: tinder. swipe, hookup, hope you don't get herpes, never see them again.

I will be playing Rift Planes of Telara.
I am keeping my eye on Copernicus. Once I have more info on it, we will see.

Terra and GW2
Rift, Tera, GW2, and SW:TOR. i'll probably only play Rift though, looks like it has more of what i want.

SWTOR im looking forward to, maybe lol. Im watching it along with RIft and to a lesser extent GW2. Will decide next spring on which if any to pick up.
WOW isnt great because it has 12 million players. WOW has 12 million players because its great.

GW2 for sure, and RIFT is looking interesting as well as SWTOR.
All I heard was... "Well aren't you just a little lolly pop triple dipped in psycho."
Kings Isle secret mmo..
I would have to say GW2 looks the strongest, in my opinion.
Farther down the road, World of Darkness.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

Soon everyone will be surprised by this game.

None on the list.
In no particular order: The Repopulation, Divurgence Online, and Earthrise.

GW2 because they will wait till it is done right.
Well, since the poll only allowed for one answer, I chose GW2. However, I am equally interested in GW2, Rift, and The Secret World.
