"Troller is looking for a response...ANY response, and he will chum the waters with complaints, insults, compliments, and inflammatory tidbits hoping that someone...ANYONE, will take the bait. Generally quite harmless - practices a form of catch and release. Nonetheless, he can upset the delicate ecology of a discussion forum. Once a forum becomes aware of his presence, however, all feeding activity ceases and Troller must move on to more promising waters."

Spamming new topics that you know that will incite passionate responses for the sheer thrill of seeing people get pissed off, hurt, or offended.

Take the following comment as an example (which is the truth):

When I used to be a republican neo con i was an asshole. Now that I am an GLTB liberal libertarian I now love people a lot more and it feels wonderful not to persecute every tom, dick, and harry that was different than me.

That would be kinda trollish. Lol, while it is the god honest truth, I am sure, I will incite some passionate responses from the conservative republican crowd. (lol, which isn't needed because I love you all nevertheless).

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

    Hhahahaha.

This is my buddy and I's idea of trolling-

We get on steam- he changes his name to e-z Gurll xoxo and I change mine to Cherry Pie <3 or something gay like that. I upload my pic, he uploads his gf's pic. We change our steam profiles to "Hey thur. teehee. Nice to meet you wink wink." We join random games and people are like... "Oh no... bimbo girls... gtfo." And we rape them. We just spend the whole game writing 'TEEHEE!' after every kill and me and him snag rank 1 and 2. Pure. Bimbo. Rapage. It's awesome. Everyone gets so mad.

I guess if making in game bimbos to slaughter people would be trolling, I would be guilty as well- but instead of Bimbos we  formed a massive multi clan team and crashed wars killing everyone on both sides and anyone in the general vicinity. That might be considered trolling as well. But it was just for fun we didn;t mean any harm by it. LOL image

It wasn;t like it was a regular event- it was something that kinda just happened after a massive real life guild party and most everyone was drunk at the time.

Now the funniest thing I have seen done was my friends made all these characters with almost the same name. and would have them all logged out in the same spot. then when they were fighting they would log out from one and log into the next one so it appeared like the guy would never die. no matter how long they killed him. LMAO

    People's reactions were  too funny.

That hook is so dull I'm not even sure it could be called a crooked stick.

Trollers,in my opinion are people who have nothing better to do in real life and tries to pick a fight online by baiting people into a flame war or whatsoever.
