Anyone sick of it yet?

Hi all,

I'm just wondering how others are feeling?

I'm pretty frustrated with the servers right now and can't get to the official site. There's only a handful of servers up, none I play on, and the WoW website just took a dump.

    Ya im getting sick of the game, I have a 60 rogue and lvl 30 alt and am just starting to get really bored, thinking of giving swg and JTL awhirl.

    sorry to say, yes i've lost interest in it, i found the servers on the whole were pretty robust, the loot bug got on my nerves alot when i was trying to be a herbalist, so much frustration, its kinda all been building up, plus im finding the acutal gameplay quite boring as well now... :(

    Waiting for Matrix online now, if that fails then i will check SWG and wait with baited breath for D&D online :)

    but yeah, i feel your frustration mate :(

    Yup I have bout had enough of the horrible tech issues with the game.. I like the game but there comes a point where you have heard enough excusses and just have to let it go.. I left COH due to this and never came back, looks like WOW is next....

    I also got sick of the brats over on the Horde side of the house on my server (Illidian) and deleted all my chars which included a 60 shaman (MONSTER) and a few other alts lvl 18-45....Made a few people that were pretty cool with me happy before I left since I dished out my 578 gold between them heh...

    Anyways I dont see these server's ever getting better and if you look at the way things have been going recently they will probably get worse.. So my time is comming to a end in WOW it seems :( kinda sucks cause I really do like the game...

    Just a update.. Servers went down agian for weekly maint this morning at 8:00AM CT.. as of right now 5:00PM     24   TWENTY FOUR servers are still down!!... And im willing to bet big money when those 24 servers do come up (one day) they will crash within 4 hours...

    I wish I could go complain with the rest of the WOW players over at the official site, but Blizzard took the site down agian like they usually do when they have major server outages....

    Ya there was a new bug introduced where a player could make a character with a duplicate character name on the same server as the original character. Could be done by anyone- not just on the same account.

    So as I rekon it, the whole WoW shebang is down totally until they have a fix. They said 40 minutes....but who knows?

    yup, just sick of waiting to play a game.  Its not like they haven't made enough money to hire the techies and/or new servers (or whatever they need to fix this).

     I love WoW by far the best mmopg ive played but i feel like its getting to the point ill just cancel and come back in maybe 6 months.

     I ve never been in ANY game thats had so many server issues. Im on Argent Dawn and we have almost nightly server reboots or emergency maintence.(to fix npcs, mail system, AH, instances etc) we are ALWAYS on extended maintence. Today we are going on 13 hours to patch 2 bugs ?? Not to mention the weekends are que's of 300+.

     I listen to the fan bois bash SOE all the time and say the sun revolves around Blizzard...hate to break it to ya but SWG has problems and bad patches too but not EVERY single day, weekend or Tuesday.

    PS I think my favorite is they tell you to check the forums for updates on downtime and all i get is SERVICE UNAVAILABLE

    I know this is a little off topic, but why is that when a server goes down alot of the players go and start toons on another server?  It just seems a little inconsiderate to the players of that server to have to have their server run slower due to the burden of "temporary" players.  I know that everyone who pays for this game deserves to play, but if you are just going to delete the toon, and are only doing it to waste time, what is the point?  Im sure Im going to get flamed, but it just seems weird that people do this.

    Don't know that this will matter to anyone- but here's an update...

    Two thirds of Blizzard's servers are down, the other third is queued for very low population. No servers show a "High Population"- so they are holding the functioning (semi?) servers to low player numbers (medium pop is highest).

    The forums and website are hosed with traffic, and unreachable 50% of the time.

    They are claiming that the 40 servers or so that are down will be up in an hour. However that statement was made after the servers went down over three hours ago and an announcement was made they would be back up in 40 minutes.

    Note:

    I'm not much of a whiner... I love this game. This is getting pretty tedious. There's something wrong in Blizzard-land and if it keeps spiralling downward I am somewhat interested to see what will happen (in the same way you look at car wrecks).

    Is the sky falling? I dunno... but if it is.... grab some popcorn and a beverage before your account expires.

    FYI, during the last patch I went and completed one of their 'tech support' from the website. The statement in the email for the response was:

    "Also, since the World of Warcraft forums are tied to the login server, you may have trouble signing in or viewing the forums as well if the entire login server is brought down. "

    The forums are tied to their login servers. I like the game, and I'll keep playing the game but that struck as a very poor server architechture decision.

    This game is really heading for doomsville if they don't get their technical shit togeather!

    The game is great, however great or not it won't matter if we can't play.  If it's not downtime it's horrible lag... Blizzard may have bitten off more than they can chew technically...

LOL 2 days ago I deleted my 60 sham and a bunch of Alts to go back alliance, so im not really bothered by this... But some of you might be bwhahahaha go Blizzard!!!!

     

    Tell ya one thing they better get this fixed without having rollbacks or something simular to that... I know alot of people who raided MC, ONY, and some of the new outdoor raid bosses will be pissed if they get rolled back a few days and loose there pretty Epic lootz :P

    I think the game itself is amazing as far as mmorpg's go, its very smooth game. They did an excellent job on just about everything. I just wish i twas mor epvp oriented, thats what is making me bored. The lack of things to do end game.

    oh well back to killing every horde i see....

    Im hella sick of WoW. Im on a PvP server and everyone is a damn carebear. Why in gods name would you play a PvP server when all you do is carebear. Im sick of the community of 12 to 15 year old kids on my server that behave like they got brought up by animals. Im sick of people that talk the PvP talk but dont walk the PvP walk. Im sick of going to IF and seeing mass numbers of people dancing outside the bank and AH showing off gear rather than using it for PvP. Im sick of how hard it is to level and obtain gear. Nobody on my server does any raids at all. Im on archimonde and its a craphole ghetto server with trash animals for a community.

    I found the world environment of WoW attractive but the gameplay is tiresome. The community leaves a lot to be desired and you may as well play a good solo offline game for the amount of interaction that occurs.

    I'm not even sure why it's an MMO - people solo to 60, where is the fun in that given that is is an MMO?

    i personally am tired of playing WoW i dont intend on continuing service , currently im playing some pretty kewl korean mmogs thats are in open beta you can always try them out when the servers go on the fritz i suggest Last Chaos , Kal is good too image

    Don't worry Snarl, Jorev is the troll to end all trolls. He has crap posted everywhere (all of it pretty much stupid). Anyways, I played WoW for a spell and really did enjoy the game. I thought all in all it was prett well done. Except of course the load of technical issues. I canceled my account a while back and haven't looked back. Good luck to all of you who still play::::20::

    Please don't take this as a flame:

    When I log on to play WoW, that's what I want to do - play WoW. Since outages are so frequent for my realm, I've jumped over to other servers several times.

    It sounds like you are saying since my main's realm is down I shouldn't play at all. Compare your play being slowed to my play being stopped completely. Which is more inconsiderate? And for this I blame Blizzard, not other players.
