OK you FF fans!

in Final Fantasy XIV

Your incessant posting and musing and drooling over this game has got my attention.

 

I just put in a pre-order for the game ( not the CE mind you ) and am looking forward to Sep30.  I never played FF XI so I have NO CLUE how this game is going to play other than listening to you guys on this forumn.

 

Well, I did poke around on their site today and review it.  I did see a lot of things that look interesting. 

 

So, that being said.  IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT I HAD TO PRE-ORDER THIS GAME!  And I will hold you all accountable.  :|

    I dare not place myself in any catagory referred to as a "boi" but I am glad the game looks interesting enough to you to give it a go come Sept 30th.  Best of luck and I we hear lots of rave posts once you start playing!

     I 2nd this i did the same and have never played any FF but i do have high hopes for it.

    I really like the thought of only having one toon to play instead of a bunch of alts to get done with want i want to do ( Crafting mules and such)

    I do have a couple concerns about the game but if i dont try and play it i will never know.

    If you've not played XI then you're really going in blind, hehe. I'd just suggest that you be very open minded when you come to playing the game, it may take you a while to get used to some features, including the controls if they're not changed before launch. Glad to see someone won over though, there are a lot of people dismissing the game simply because it's doing things so differently.
