Same. I will play it eventually, when it goes platinium collection, all three in one box for $20.
Tired beta, and wasnt really excited.

Now Diablo3 - that would be different story... But if they force us to buy different boxes to play different classes with, then i'm not going for it.

You don't understand RTS one bit.

Im not a RTS fan why should i be intrested in this game?

Becouse its blizzard?... for me enough reason to avoid it even more:P

Im almost positive many will buy game becouse as we all know mass always go blindly after hypes and find out its tottally not there thing  RTS game hehe and wasted 50bucks only making blizzard even richer by dumping there crap on market:(

Agame that become big becouse so many bought it but dont play it hehe.

And sc1 was not that popular in west eather it was mainly very succefull in korea where best players are.

    Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

Do you mean similiar to the $40 box for Diablo II + LoD from the year 2000? Yeah, totally $20.

I wish I cared about RTS games.

My love for them stopped after I quit playing Age of Empires II.

  • shinkanshinkan Member UncommonPosts: 241

Game wasn't any good back then, and judging by the trailer it looks like another shitty game.

Or they played better RTSs like Homeworld, World in Conflict, Warhammer.

I know of it, but I've never really played it [SC1], and I'm still here... Am I not supposed to be? :o

oh ho ho you didnt go there!!!

trust me at 33 and growing up in an era where 14kb ran games as a kid, I have tried every Genre and yes I do understand RTS,

There is a difference between being tactical in RTS adn just building as many cheap units as possible to overwhelm someone, thats not tactics thats just 'Can I churn them out fast enough'

And I didnt play the AI, I played against other players

oh and another reason to NOT buy this?

Region locking, nuff said, had friend buy both EU and NA copy so he can play friends in America, now thats jsut a con

never played SC1 not a huge fan of these types of games but tbh i only ever played 1 game like it and it was pretty fun so i might give this a shot :)

  • Snaylor47Snaylor47 Member Posts: 962

Never really liked SC1 so I have no interest in number 2.

The population will go down for like a week, when people start beating the game and gets there kick out of the multi player, then they will rise again.

Screw it.... Star Craft sucked compaired to Warcraft there I said it.

Honestly Blizzard? What else are you going to copy.

Is your next MMO called, "Corporate Wars:The New Democracy"?

Though I wish my grandpappy was here he love SC1.

I don't care about innovation I care about fun.

Dont understand the hype SC1 was boring and SC2 is the same stuff in modern technology with old concepts.

Well, that seems to be especially the stuff that asians like...so maybe a few F2P games will be hurt but i guess not so much^^

    I'm not buying it.

The only reason I would buy it would be for LAN purposes.

    No LAN.

Diablo II and WC3 both came out in 2000 and 2003 and are still 40... SC came out in 1996 and is 20.. so.. are you going to wait until at least 2020 to play this?

lol, i never enjoyed sc1 so i wont even try the 2nd

  • sadeyxsadeyx Member UncommonPosts: 1,555

Yea, not so much into RTS's myself, though I was quite big into Total Annihilation back when Starcraft was out.

I just dont like the fact that its about how many 'clicks per minute' your capable of and micro-managment, its just not fun to me, even if i win.

But yea, SC2 will be a popular one, gl to ya

  • AconsarAconsar Member Posts: 262

Maybe the WoW kids will be flooding it, but doubtful there will be an exodus from the rest.
