Do you continue to train when un-subscribed?

noblotnoblot Member Posts: 287

Just off on holiday for three week, and training up for 24 days. Meanwhile my subscription has expired.

Will I contiue to train, or do I have to pay for the three week I'm away?

    You'll have to pay.

You do not continue to train while unsubscribed. If you want to train while offline you have to have an active subscription.

I believe that the vlounteer "GMs" in the noob help channel have said that there is three days past account expiration that your toon still trains and that it ends after that.

Assuming you have a skill queue full enough, your training will continue until the 3rd downtime after your subscription lapses.

You could argue that this is just more evidence that the company has gone from caring about it's game and it's players, to only caring about one thing.

You could, but you'd look stupid.
Ghost training seriously distorted the character sales and was generally a weird mechanic. I wouldn't even mind if they stopped accumulation of datacores when unsubbed. Should I come back in two years, I'll be sitting on a huge pile of datacores..probably enough to run all my accounts on plex for a while..

Probably why some folks are able to put thousands of datacores up on the market at one time, driving the prices down horribly.  I's prefer they stop accumulation of t hem as well.

I just did this. Me and my friend had accumulated datacores worth 2+ billion. Pretty silly.

As soon as your account expires, you stop training immediately

I've found this out from experience. I keep letting the accounts I don't play regularly, lapse. lol Your queue stays, but stops training.
