Well I mainly play MMO's for the people and a laugh, I've played the likes of WoW and yes the game is good but because theirs so many people the community is weak.

Its weird I'm sat here with a fully customised computer that can eat any game on full specs without breaking a sweat yet I've tried the 3D MMO's and they all lack in the same department and thats community, theirs so many people and everyones busy doing their own thing that making friends is very hard. Being competetive in larger games like this is impossible, theirs simply so many people that you can never be in the top 100 unless you give up all your life.

I know with this game being smaller (because its 2D alot of people wont give it a second look, usually a good thing as all the immature people go to 3D ones image) but if you dont have a tight community the game is pointless (afterall most MMO's are not based upon a strong game but on the community).

I don't think you have done any martket research on GN have you? All games hosted have started to destroy themselves, they don't have any customer support. One of the games called The Myth of Soma is run by a player now. The payment system is screwed up and it's currently getting hacked.

Dont need to do market research on GN, Ive played both MoS and LoM2 and found the service to be ok their were a few problems but like all MMO companies these have to be expected (name one good MMO company! Even someone like Blizz with their mass budget has problems).

Yes I agree GN have a habit of promising things and taking a very long time to deliver on these promises. But after playing LoM3 ran by a different company but supplied by the same dev team (wemade) its obvious that GN wasnt totally responsable for the things that happened as QGO are also having lots of problems getting bugs fixed and patches out on time (oh and MoS had always been a side project of GN, shame to see the three official GM's have left, but if the ex-player is on their payroll then they are now an official employee)

So am I the only one here who likes old 2D MMO's?
