You realize not everyone in the beta actually plays LOTRO now? And so they started from scratch? (Then again, you don't realize they are characters, not "toons")

Some people call em toons, I never understood that one myself since toon to me is pretty much something along the lines of Disney or Warner Bros, I don't see Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny anywhere, do you? lol

This beta was conducted on a special beta server--Bullroarer. This is not a beta for a new game...it is a beta for an update.
With the exception of the initial open beta back in 2007 (held on the various live servers) Turbine never carries over beta characters onto live. This is for a variety or reasons, technical and otherwise.

Do beta characters EVER carry over? Beta isn't about developing characters, it's about testing the game.
This beta was conducted on a special beta server--Bullroarer. This is not a beta for a new game...it is a beta for an update.
