Hey all. I am probably one of the most experienced MMORPG players out there but also one of the most clueless ATM, here are some of the games i've enjoyed
World of Warcraft: Several Maxed Toons/Raiding Experience,
Asherons Call: Loved it
The Realm Online: Got my start there in 1997.
I have also enjoyed Diablo II, Well of Souls, Maple Story, Aion (for a bit), Battle of Immortals, Dark Age of Camelot.
I have TRIED, EQ II, EQ, Darkfall (which was interesting but I got kinda lost on it), Silkroad, and a lot of the free asian games, Atlantica (I didnt like the group fight system), Requiem, 9 Dragons, D&D
I am honestly probably leaving out 20 games i've played. I started playing MMORPG's in the mid 90's with the first one and I have been hooked ever since. Since World of Warcraft every game I have had hopes for has epic failed. The only MAJOR games I have no played are Warhammer and Age of Conan which I have heard plus's and negative's for.
I know this reads like a book but I was just curious if anyone knows of any QUALITY free to play, OR subscription games currently in open beta or soon to be released. I have my eye on SWTOR for this spring, and possibly FF10 this fall even though Im not much of a final fantasy fan. I was playing a game called Martial Empires and liked it but its Europe only and im in the US.
Anyway thanks, and maybe someone else out there is having the same trouble.
P.S. By quality I mean I don't like games with tons of forum players/a bad community.
Shady game masters/management,
or way expensive cash shops
lag issues or server issues
something that runs good and is backed good, and a quality game. (I know impossible right)

Eve is a good game, i play it along side Aion; which is also a good game. dont let all the trolls get you down on aion, its really nice game to play just some people dont see the game as it is and they rush to end game and skip all the fun stuff
I was big on the Aion bandwagon, and it was a cool game. I got to about level 37 or so, I think max was 50 right at release and my friend got to 45. Neither of us really felt it and at the time all we got was reallllly negative input on the end game. Like the fort battles being terrible or buggy or something and the race balance was bad.
Either way, we got off Aion. Eve I tried a trial for one strike I have against Eve is that it's been out so long I'd feel behind. Fallen Earth however, I may have to look in to.
