in Guild Wars

Hello,

   I am thinking about getting Guild Wars and I was wondering what are the system requirements. Also can you play this with a PC Game Controller. Oh and last a little info on the game would be greatly appreciated.

    well I think you can play Guild Wars on most computers.... I did the October Preview event thing with my old comp. which had 256mb and a crappy graphics card ::::07::

    ya...the requirements are really low:

    750 MHz or higher CPU
    8x CD-ROM
    600 MB harddrive space
    DirectX 8 compatible sound card (16-bit)
    32MB or higher graphics card (Geforce 2 or higher)
    Windows 98 or higher (no Macs)
    128 MB of RAM

    Might wanna get an actulal video card. Usually onboard video kills any gaming experience. Thankfully nowadays you can get a pretty decent card for not all that much money.

    ^^ya..just go out and get a Nvidia GeForce FX5200

    it is wat I use, will probly be only like $70 American and runs everything (including Doom 3, Counter Strike Source, Half-Life 2 and like everything else) on 1024x7?? video setting with everything on medium to high quality

    No it will not, you need a real graphics card. Dont get a FX5200 or FX5500- my bros computer's guild wars looks really bad and lags. Get a FX5700 or a 9600pro.

    No, it will not. No Pixel Shader, no DirectX 9.0 support....

    It runs on GeForce2 class cards, so it should work.

    70 bucks = just preorder the card from any other company online.. i only payed 35 dollars for the card..

    Is THAT true??? imageAfter I saw the graphics from the game, I thought you're going to need a good graphic card. Since that's what it needs, then I'm about to download the clientimage

    I think this game is going to be a big "BOOM" in MMORPG's
