Some amusing stuff my step dad said tonight.....
Tonight he got a little bit drunk and eventually began to act like a complete a**hole. Nevertheless what he said he believes even when sober. Ive never known anyone in my life to stick to his beliefs so much. Hes a guy you CANNOT get to admit to being wrong, no matter how badly you prove him wrong.
So some thigns he said tonight......
1. Apparently im the only person in the world who spends more than 8 hours a day on the PC for entertainment (when its a day off and have no commitments or prior engagements).
2. Apparently financing that takes 1 hour to do on paper takes 8 hours to a day to do on the PC.
3. Apparently I'm the only one in the UK who dislikes sports.
4. Apparently all the peeople who i know lied about saying they dont like sports.
5. Apparently theres 1 person per town/city that dislikes football. Statistically proven too so he says,
6. Apparently he knows 2 people who are the only 2 people in the world to try out new technology from IBM and other companies 6 motnhs before anyone else.
7. Apparently is completely impossible to know for if anyone is on their PC by being on my PC without using a security camera and watching that way which isnt via a PC but via a TV and cable apparently.
8. Apparently the internet is for nothing more than sick people as in porn, rapists, kidnapping, or whatever.
9. Apparently its compeltely impossible to socialise on a PC.
10. Apparently hes met over 50,000 people in his life, as in actually spoken to them personally, not just speaking to a taxi driver or shopkeeper or whatever. And hes never had a job which involves meeting more than 10-20 new people a day.
Well thats just some of things hes said tonight. And none of that is exagerated. And yes he really is like this when hes sober, he just doesnt talk about this stuff as openly. But one thing is for sure, ive never met anyone ever like him who believes what he believes full stop. Put pure proof right in his face and he still wont admit and believe.
Hope you got a least a bit of ammusement out of this. Its funny, but quite sad really when i think about it., and to be honest im quite annoyed and angry at the situation and how hes been.

Could be the best thing that ever happened to you.Then again he may tell you that only 2 out of 10 people actually move out at 17.(i actually got out when i was 16).

Heh hes out of the way most of the time so its not all bad. But some nights he can be terrible. And i only got 1 more year of college then im moving out, and out of the country (UK to US). Seriously, i am moving (not because of him though, because ive always planned to make a living in the US after my education is doen with).
Tell him to repeat what he said when you get your masters in IT and are making 90,000 a year in high industry, networking, or engineering.

Talk about being ignorant. I 3rd the "Masters in IT" thing as well. Personally those things make me laugh quite a bit, I mean, thats a new height of ignorance.

lol, very amusing.remindes me of my dad. in his mind when ever things go wrong on his pc or tv, I did it with my games. there's absolutly no way that you can convinces him that you are right and he's wrong even though I got the evidence right here.
any way, don't waste your time trying to persuade him. Hold out for that one year( try it by thinking about how ignorant and laugh silently at him, or try thinking about killing him, think don't do it.he's not worth it to go to jail for)

You people gotta admit you have felt like him at least once upon a time in some way or shape. But, in this guys case he needs some serious therapy, I think. That or, a correction facility. Both can work.
My father is exactly like him. I recently took up sports because I thought it would lessen the constant moaning.
I fitness twice a week and Karate once per week.
Yet, it still isn't enough, and I'm still a major computer geek who should get a better condition to him while I now actually sport more then average I think :S
I'll greatly enjoy it when I open up my own shop one day. I realize it won't make a lot of money, but having a fun job is more important to me then money.

It happens the same with whenever my dads cpu gets viruses or whatnot its from the games I play on-line (like, only games from shockwave.com
) or from the sites I visit, although in my pc I do the same thing in a more intense way but got no viruses
