I can't play anything for a few weeks, but I have my eye on DAoC.
I played the trial last year and was surprised at how good the graphics were, I don't remember much and the only down side was the map system. Real bad, but that was the only problem Ive found.
Questions :
Is it hard to get used to the maps ?
One server ? If so thats good news to me.
Dungeons, are their many, are they fun, are they deep and long ?
easy to find groups ?
I take it RvR is very guild related, if so, are most good guilds stuck up and not allow new players ?

Are buff bots still commonplace?
its the reason i quit the game a long time ago, and i might give the game another shot if they did away with them.
Thanks Wicoa,
I added the map add on to my favorites, I'm coming home from Germany this week so the next few weeks are gonna be hectic. For a year now I can't get this game off my mind. FF 14 is coming out next month, but I'm not too sure about that one, with the Asian theme and possible problems with the keyboard + mouse issues kind of turn me off.
The original game didn't even have maps, they aren't even important aspects of the game. I'm not sure what's so bad about them, they get the job done. But yeah, there are a lot of UI mods out there.
Dungeons are many and most are steeped in obscure lore, lots of twists and turns and hidden areas. Some are shorter, but you'll be hard pressed to find many dungeons better than Stonehenge in the MMO world.
RvR isn't really about guilds, its about your realm, you can join up with just about anyone.
