Gamestop or Ebgames

Gamestop offers the "warpick" as an added in game bonus and EbGames is offering the "Ithas Bow" as an ingame bonus. Anyone know which one is the best for a bonus? or are they both just random lowbie weapons.

I went with EB, the Bow sounds cool... no clue as to what the damage is.. but Im sure it will be a cool item to start out wtih...

Neither of them are probably all that spectacular. However I would recommend choosing the weapon that would help your first character the most. For example, the bow if you're going for a ranger or for the pick a warrior. Up to you either way. I don't think anyone will know how good either of them will be until retail and by then you won’t be able to get either of them.

It really doesn't matter if you ask me, the special pre-order items might be cool, or usefull at some points during the game, but i highly doubt they are dishing out hte best items with the pre-order + you can't resell within the game it self...

What the heck do you mean you can't resell, I have seen PLENTY of ppl selling items in beta... do you not remember all the spam with rare this and rare that, or ISO pelts blah blah blah... Secondly GameStop and EB are not the only places to have special items check GWs website and they have a list of all special items and where to get them. It would have been nice had they a least hinted at the strength of these weapons.

People were selling things in the beta, but once it's customized for you, you can no longer sell it.  The implication is that your pre-order weapon will be customized and not sellable.  The reality it that there will be hundreds of thousands of the pre-order weapons.  The supply will be so high that they won't have much value, even if they can be sold.

I preordered at gamestop first, but cancelled there, because I wanted the bow. So I went to EB Games

There was I think 4 stores all together that have special preorder weapons. The other two stores are Best Buy and CompUSA and the weapons were a I think a shield and a necromancer mana bonus weapon or something (although I don't remember which store has which). In the end it probably doesn't really matter, they will probably be quickly replaced by better quality weapons when retail comes out.

    Now here is a deal.

    Regular Edition:
    http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=B645393D

    Collectors Edition:
    http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=B646121B

I don't believe CE comes with a free copy of Lineage 2 CE, but it's still a steal of a deal.

Nothing like free shipping, free 14 day trial to CoH, and a free game.
