Uhg I've been obsessing over this game for the past few days now...
Doing nothing but reading and watching videos about FFXIV.
It's driving me nuts!
I gotta play this game already...
What should I do till release of FFXIV?
Playing Starcraft 2 right now... although RTS is not my thing...

I'm checking my Email 50+ times a day hoping for a beta code to be there lol
It's in my best interest to not play anything, I've been living in Germany for the past 4 months, and going home to the US on Thursday, so I'll be busy until release.
My game plan is to hold off about a week after release to be sure the game is ok. Even just a week is hard to tell because so many try and maintain a good attitude no matter how a new release goes. Seen to many fails in the past that I / we were absolutely sure were gonna be good ( Vanguard, AoC, Warhammer,Champions ).
I am dieing to play DAoC, I've played the trial last year, and it's surprisingly a good game, along with updated graphics, the only problem with this game is the map system, and I guess they have add on for that.
I will hold off on playing FF14 or DAoC until I see how the release of FF14 goes. So I'll have a good game to play no matter what
Alganon is going F2P at the end of the week, so why not play that in the meantime?

Been playing Lost Saga for the past year in anticipation for XIV... (Kinda sad that it's really the only "MMO" I've played this past year.) I can hold out a liiiiittle longer with it. Rediscovering my love for Captain Hook and Fire Mage classes in it, so I can hold out. LOL
Suggest you try it out if Smash Bros sort of gameplay is your thing.
Reactivated my Eve Online. Playing that till release.
