Conj. And the spell "Cure"

in Final Fantasy XIV

Iv been playing MMOs for a good ammount of time now, and in just about everyone iv played a healer or support class of some kind. So far im really enjoying the support aspects that the conj. has.

 

Today was the first time iv been in a party, and used my cure ability for that matter, and i was shocked that if i am engaged in a mob i am not able to cast cure at all, i have to dis-engage then cast. 

Im either on the verge of having a very small IQ or is this actually how it works?

 

Must you disengage a mob to be able to cast Cure?????

    No, that's not the case at all.  You are apparently experiencing some kind of bug.
