There have been rumors that the major companies here in the Philippines will partner to bring another home for WoW here in the Philippines. If there are any other people who knows about this and has a more reliable source, dont hesitate to post. If this has been posted already, please lock/delete this thread.

But can the Philippine Internet Infrastructure handle WoW? Can it cater international clients?

Due the US internet can't handle WoW. It's the most unstable MMO I've ever played. Sure every game has it's problems starting out but WoW has been out for what.... 5 months? The servers still crash almost daily. Good game but unplayable.

If it happens, Tantra is going to die and I will be happy.image  Good game but Tantra's support team sucks. The game is not even ready for P2P, the pvp sucks and omg, so much, so much. (read my ratings in Game List for details) BTW, I know who you are ionicwings.

Well the major threat for WoW... could be Granado Espada... but the game's quite expensive.. China alone got it for 6M USD...

WoW won't do well in the philippines.  It might be the best mmo currently released, but I doubt many will wish to upgrade thier computers pay for the game then pay to play when they can stick with what they are already playing.
