Is it worth it to return?

in Everquest II

Hello.

I was just looking for a game to get into and I was thinking of returning to EQ2, I got the game the day it came out but quit due to a lack of time and other ingame issues.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Theres been quite a few updates. I would say it's definitley worth another try.

    The only thing I am worried about is ability to get a group, does it take forever to find a group or is it decent?

    Depends on server, class, and level. If you are on a popular server, are a tank or healer you will get groups easy. Up to lvl 16 or so are kinda hard to get groups, but thats the time that you are kinda supposed to solo and get good xp.

    I am a lvl 31 berserker and I get groups easy, usually I Just make them myself so I get good groups with the right classes. I usually am lvl for about 10-20 mins before I get an invite.

    you're right jorev, no it doesnt take very long to find a group any more. maybe when i first started playing, but at least on blackburrow there has been a large influx of new players recently so the zones are filling up.

    Thanks for replying guys. Im dying to play a mmorpg again, heh I just hope I dont give up on eq2 so quick this time around.

    I play it since launch and imo there was never a reason to leave!

    Regarding groups, get to know some ppl or even join a not too small guild and you will be fine. I am neither a healer nor a tank (in fact im Wizard) but have no problems with getting groups at all.
