Guild Wars is Hopping

I recently went back to Guild Wars - to be fair I never really gave it much of a chance a few years ago.

What I am impressed about...

1. Gigantic World and TONS to do - ALOT of PvE and PvP tourneys have constant activity

2. The game is hopping, there are tons and tons of players - I joined a guild that has upwards of 200 people online at any time and there are lots of big thriving guilds/alliances

3. Heroes concept is very cool

Glad I got into it - love the lore and it is getting me ready for GW2. Maybe that is why it's thriving, dunno, but I was pretty surprised.

I played through all the campaigns when they came out and spent some time doing end game content. After that, have ept it on the harddrive and visit when I'm bored with other games. Has always been well populated. Not my favorite for immersion, but always quick and dirty fun.

Well..true. So instanced and you have to stay on paths, but..... there are a lot of paths.

Well it is somewhat linear, but I recently worked my way from Ascalon to Lions Arch and it took several hours and tons of zones. It sure FELT big-

There are not servers in GW. you can play with anybody around the world. Changing between American and European districts is a matter of 3-4 clicks.
