At the moment I'm trying to buy a copy for my girlfriend and I (to upgrade our current accounts) Amazon UK does have one but its for an astronomical amount.
(I've really just ignored everyones opinions on how "bad" the game is etc, and so far I've had a wonderful time playing it)
I'm not really after the box contents myself, personally just want it for the wings.
It's on ebay. But you have to be rather quick since it seems it's last copy and expires soon.
Only other hope i think is to wait if they decide to re-open the 10e upgrade for regular account that was obtainable directly on ncstore. Or ask them if they plan to re-open this offer.
I have 2 unused and never opened Aion EU CE's (still in the original box from game.co.uk). Tell me if you are interested. We can figure something out (ebay for example).

Amazon.com here in the states has the US version. You might try amazon UK .
WOW isnt great because it has 12 million players. WOW has 12 million players because its great.

never used it, only opened the box for the figure, then the launch debacle resigned the box to sitting on the shelf collecting dust

The only problem with amazon US is that they dont ship here and the automatically forward you to amazon uk instead :S?

Can't you upgrade your account from ncsoft store itself?
Not anymore i think. It was available only until the end of october 2009.
Maybe (!) you could try call them or something if they are able to do it for you, but i don't think so.
According to http://na.aiononline.com/board/notices/view?articleID=141 they even had some issues with it so they did extend it for some time.
