Another set of videos added to the front page, as per request by a fellow forumer. It contains almost the same footage as the first three but with different sets of commentary and a few more bits of info that people will enjoy.

Ok, Txs OP, these vids are imo the most informative yet. Result! The commentary is very design-idea context to the game footage at the same time. Great vids here.

Edit: disregard
Thanks for the vids, very informative. Didn't have much interest in the game initially, but seeing the threads with the videos has definitely got me interested.
Looking forward to this title more than anything on the horizon. Good stuff.
yeah the videos were a lot better than the previose gameplay one that was camed poorly. I think they showed well conciddering where the game is. Keep in mind, trolls, that this is not an officially released video nor is the game polished and finalized before you start stating what arenanet has failed to deliver on and what they are lacking. Take it for what it is and keep in mind where the game is in development. I have small complaints that I am sure I can get past upon release if they even exist then. IMO it is looking to be a great mmorpg. Just my thought.
RIP Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan and Paul Gray.
on the contrary, i think the bad should be looked at, and commented on. it can be helpful in making it better. and give us a sense on what needs to be fixed and how fat along we can be
That was pretty awesome imo - my excitement for the game only continues to build!
If I had to really nitpick, I'd say:
-The dialogue sequences with just text, a background, and your character and/or NPCs on it felt kind of meh to me. Then again, I suppose they need to hold you still for a sec to get that part of the story, and keeping you in the normal game world while watching the conversation wouldn't be any better.
-Human running animations seemed kinda awkward - yet the char one that everyone was complaining about from the cam video actually looks much better here. I'm guessing they are still tweaking those a bit, but even if not - it's not a big deal imo.
-I noticed there is instancing used in Divinity's Reach, which they had already mentioned. I personally don't have that big of an issue with this, and maybe not every section is it's own instance - I'm just wondering how that's going to effect the traffic in towns. That city looks like it might actually be too big lol! After the game has been going for awhile, I wonder if it'll feel empty in sections other than where trade is done, etc. I guess that's what minigames and chat channels are for.
-The thought occured to me that maybe most people aren't going to bother going back to areas of individual event chains they've already seen more than a few times. For example, if an event chain consists of 10 possible events and you've seen 8 or 9, are you really going to bother going back to try and see the remaining ones unless they are something like the shatterer showing up? Then again there is the scout system which, as far as we know, may tell you which event is occuring on the map, making tracking the ones you've yet to see down more easily. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
That's just a bunch of loose thoughts I had while watching - don't let them fool you - I'm completely stoked for this game lol.
http://multiplayer.it/video/guild-wars-2-per-pc/guild-wars-2-gameplay-gamescom-2010.hi/ this is the video i was talking about and you are taking me saying "bad" as the gameplay when i was talking about the quality. I also mentioned that it was poorly cammed so as not to confuse but I guess that was overlooked so there is some clarity. As to us getting a sence of what needs to be fixed well thats all gonna be a matter of opinion since what some see as flaws, others may see as innovation or just something different and refreshing. And as to your other commenting about making it better I highly doubt anyone who is actually able to do anything about it is gonna look too much into a trolls words and walk away with an idea to improve the product. trolling is trolling and you can't really take it into account.
And lets be honest, if we really wanted to help improve it we would not focus solely on what we concidder bad and maybe mention more of what we really like about the game but we would just be called fanbois then wouldn't we. So i try to stay neutral while pointing out the facts and that is that this game isn't complete. If you like what you see great, if you don't thats ok too.

The video was made by the french site jeuxonline.
I think they also made a nice interview : http://www.jeuxonline.info/video/2721/gamescom-2010-interview-lead-content-developer-guild-wars-2
I'm in love... it felt awesome from the first to the last second.
The more I see of this game the more amazed I become of its scope. It's especially exciting as Im reading the book now too.
Yea the interview asks questions about a few things they are still working on. I predict an E3 2011 demo of PvP and some underwater content or maybe a demo at Comicon next year.
This is not a game.
I think the game will be released before E3 2011, next to that Arenanet never visits E3.
The interview has several interesting news facts to me...
-There will be dungeons (with a kinf of raid system)
-Sidekicking can be up in level or down in level.
-GEar and stats will play a very important role in this game (PvE and WvWvW.... but not challenging PvP)
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
I doubt it will be out before E3 but who knows how far they've come with the development. I just would like to see a bit more gameplay before my predicted release window heh.

In part 1 we've seen most of what is in there but these two show event scaling (part 2) and the fighting of the dragon from start to finish. The explanations are in english as well and there are a few extra bits of info people will gather from it.

Im watching the live stream for the first time. They're doing book signing. But the music being played in the background, are they music by Jeremy Soule made for Guild Wars 2?
Playing now: Cities: Skyline / Ori and the Blind Forest / Banished
Some of it is from Aion(I believe) and some are from Jeremy's Sountrack.
